2014 Impala Muffler and Cat Delete

it's Ben over half a year since I've done this and I've had zero problems! about the sounds and look, it all just depends on you and if you want it, I always get comments on it about how it sounds and looks good. definitely seperates my impalas from everyone else's. when I first got the impala I liked it because it looked really aggressive, especially the front end of the car, so I did this just to add on to it. I also blacked out the front and back Chevy symbols. I love it!

Armando Bustos did you cut the 3rd cat out? I cut the muffler and resinator out of my 16 lt, it didn't know it needed to upshift and would hang at hight rmp for a bit before shifting, put some flowmaster 40's on it and that resolved the issue, thinking about cutting the 3'rd cat out to see if it's louder without the issue.

thinking about doing just a muffler delete on my 2018 impala with the v6 I just need to know how bad the drone is inside while driving it is too much? or if it sounds too ricey thank you.

With just a muffler delete you shouldn’t have any drone if you take off the resonator you will have drone but a CAI fixed the drone somehow

Jeff Clark Nope, deleted the secondary cat and the muffler, Idk if deleting the primary cat (the one closest to the engine) would do a Check engine Light. I left that one alone.

Sounds like you deleted your resonator. If you straight pipe the cat then the check engine light will stay on. Unless you get a 02 sensor simulator.

You should have a down pipe then cat then resonator then muffler. Sounds great tho!

00king0of0games00 Thanks Bro, got it at a local muffler shop, they charged me 280 in total, 200 for the muffler delete and 80 for the Cat Delete, and they did it in like 30 minutes!
