I own both the Safari and Scorpio ..the Safari way better than that of the Scorpio in terms of ride quality and comfort its more nimble at higher speeds ....taking a Scorpio above 120 kmph is really scary ...I would say Scorpio in not a SUV its a muv with hard suspension and least aero dynamic body !! Its only because mahindra pays a lot for advatisement and to these Indian auto reviewers who never give you a fair and honest review !!! I also own the Xuv500 but still would say Safari is way to better than that even in terms of comfort !! And that being said Safari is a SUV which best to be driven by a Chaifer

i still can't trust the scorpio in high speed turns no matter what this lady says .. !! ive taken my safari to its limits and boy it never rolled over just slided, but when i tried a high speed turn in my friend's scorpio, the bloody thing rolled over like a dog ... so no thank you ! we're good with tata 4X4!! go tata !!

I am an user of Tata safari from 2010.Car completed 135,000 ks and all service done in Tata service center. 😢Truly saying the quality of the car is poor.I had met with some serious issues during the warranty period and it was fixed under warranty.Also i had to fight with Tata motors to replace it under warranty. 😢Tata dealer was also finding difficult time to find some parts which is not available in Tata motor factory itself. ☺️Average service cost of 10,000 kms is 9000 rs. 😢Suspension is having poor build qualityand has been replaced every 30,000 avg and seriously the cost of suspension replacement is 25,000 including labour. 😢Avg cost per year of ownership of the safari is 45,000rs with an avg running kms of 15000 which include all the works. Final verdict is :😊it's a large SUV suited for all terrain and has a lot of road respect.if u have enough money to spend for your passion and if you know a good mechanic to fix it,it's a good car to keep. 😢Fuel economy on road was 8kmpl to 10kmpl. If someone is saying,he got more than 10,then I will tell you "it will only be in ur dreams".

the review is more concentrated in praising the scorpio... praising the scorpio more and more and neglecting the safari at each point. I have driven both, i felt safari strome is the real big Dude... I feel the jump seats are the bad remark of strome... I Dont know about the maintenance part, but as a person who did a test drive of 20 -25kms on both the vehicles, i felt safari is the dude you like to have
