Notice how the DSLR's RAW file required more Exposure adjustments, but the iPhone's RAW file is a .DNG that was sort of already adjusted right out of the smartphone. We just opened up the shadows to see how the iPhone's RAW file holds up. On your next vacation, will you bring your big camera or only your smartphone 🙂

For Photography, I highly recommend anything Sony or Nikon if you are interested in a DSLR or Mirrorless. The Nikon Z5 is a great option or Sony a6600 is quite popular too! Let me know if you have any more questions or any specific Photography needs.

@@syed.farhan_7 If you want to view your Photos on a Smartphone, then sure, you could get an iPhone, you won't see much of a difference on a smaller screen. But if you view your content on a larger screen, there is definitely a difference that you see. The pixel quality of a Larger Sensor Camera is better than on a Smartphone. Perhaps in a few years Smartphones will catch up to Larger Cameras.

iphone 15 pro max $649 nikon d810 with lens and bag $560 for me it would be better to use the nikon.

If you can get the D810 for that low, I would not hesitate for one second, because for Photography the D810 is a phenomenal camera!!

I saw lot of noises on Nikon photo but not much on iPhone.

You are absolutely correct, there is definitely visible noise on the Nikon photo too as I really challenged the Dynamic Range of both Cameras! However, the Nikon did retain more details in the Shadows whereas the iPhone did not capture the same Dynamic Range (see the red areas in the shadows on the iPhone photo). Keep in mind, I did not adjust or add to any default Noise Reduction settings in Lightroom. With Nikon's 14-Bit RAW file, I would probably be able to also apply more effective Noise Reduction and yet retain more details. It's no surprise given that the Bit Depth of the Smartphone does not match the Bit Depth of the Nikon Camera. Cheers!

@ Keep telling yourself that.. lol! You definitely can’t tell the differences more so if you edit the iPhone images. They can look just as good as most dslr images.
