This room/collection is insane. And awesome. I really like how you've made everything very stylish and displayed nicely. I wish I had the kind of room in my house to do something like this. If my basement was even remotely functional, I'd have a "man cave" with my gaming stuff set up like that, but sadly, really old houses aren't great for such things. Pretty sweet setup you have there.

Gaming God I do not think I did a video on what I did - I cut out the damaged carpet and under padding, then put down temporary carpet, which I am still using. Since I hope to be moving out of the house sometime within the next 6 months, I am just dealing with what I have for now

This is a dream room! I am a starting collector. I have just recently collected all Nintendo home consoles from NES to Wii U. I have 2 TV's so sometimes my friends and I have retro gaming competitions where we see who can beat the game first. One person plays on the older CRT TV, second person plays on the HD TV and third person plays on the Wii U gamepad. We did this with super smash bros to see who can beat the Master hand first.

Damn, I should start collecting when I'm older. I am 14, but I can't collect almost anything because my little sister (who suffers from heavy autism) would get jealous and then my parents say I should hand it over to her, but every time I say no because I think it should be in good condition for later but finally it are my parents who give me the boot and it will take a while before I can take the console or anything back and then it's quality sucks. Another reason I can't collect at this age is because everyone in my house say I should not spend my money on what they call "old junk". I mean it is old, but it is not junk. And also there aren't much interesting game stores in The Netherlands, because it's such a small country and there isn't any space to keep it (Because the country is small, the houses and rooms are greatly reduced in size.) Short summary: I would have to deal with annoying things from people near me. But my friends would actually be totally happy for me.

The SNES has most of my favorite games. Mario RPG, Mystic Quest, Soul Blazer, the Lufias, the Final Fantasies... The list goes on and on. I think my favorite handheld is the Gameboy Advance since I've probably spent the most time with it. It was even fun using it with Gamecube games like Crystal Chronicles and Wind Waker. Seriously, as soon as I was given the Tingle Tuner, I had Tingle following me around for the rest of my playthrough like some invisible companion.

That is one beautiful collection. I love it how it's exclusively Nintendo, not that I don't like any of the other video game companies...but Nintendo has always been my favorite by far. Nintendo is my childhood. They are the Disney of the video game industry, and Mario is the Nintendo equivalent of Mickey Mouse.

i love watching videos like this to see the differences between the different designs of the game cases between regions. the gamecube games look like they have the spine logo on the bottom, which just looks so weird cause im used to it at the top, and your wii u games have white slips while my australia versions are entirely blue (i kinda prefer that)

My favorite handheld was the GBA classic. Fits your hands like a real controller. I used to go to my grandfathers ranch and on the 5hr drive there Id play a digimon beatumup. Was my first and only since handheld. Going to get a 3ds in the coming year I figure. The games for it look great , honestly has the best modern library super excited for all the rpgs.

Your room gets more interesting every video XD. A couple questions and comments: - I began a GBC collection. I know your not a huge handheld collector, but whats the max to pay for the yellow and(or) silver/gold edition consoles? - Is Ebay a good place to get consoles or are other places possibly better? - Just wondering, do you have a "Rob"? I think that would be a really cool thing to display, but it's your money and your preference, just an idea Again, awesome room, loving the videos.

Oh, and my favorite handheld is the Gameboy Pocket. I got it 17 years ago and it's lasted through falling into a lake (was broken for a few weeks and then magically came back to life), a battery acid leak and the screen shield falling off. Tough hardware!

My favorite console is the Gamecube! Love Super Monkey Ball and Animal Crossing ^-^ I didn't notice them in your collection, but MegaMan Network Transmission is amazing and would be worth a play, and Harvest Moon Magical Melody and HM Another Wonderful Life are classic titles as well! ~

Oh and i'm glad you got more Megaman classic games, you only need to get all the megaman games released for the nes 1 through 6 and 7 for the snes which is AWESOME, can't believe you don't have that one, and the Megaman collection for the gamecube.

I bought an N64 a few years ago because it is my favourite console with ocarina of time, and bought a few other games to go with it like DK64 (one of my all time favourites). I'm planning on buying an snes from my friend soon, so I want to start collecting for that too. you and i have very different approaches to collecting but i really appreciate your room. it very clean/streamlined and i could see even non gamers feeling very comfortable there. the lighting looks nice. the stuff you made yourself is awesome. one (not serious) criticism. stop calling them figurines. figurines are what lady's collect. old ladies mainly. guys collect action figures and statues! ; )

There is actually a Wario themed Gamecube controller which came out the same time as the Mario & Luigi ones and is probably the rarest to find. There is also a Japanese console called the Panasonic Q which is basically a combination Gamecube and DVD player.

Do you know about the English translations? You can play them on your PC- the ROMs are all online :) However, I have an English translated cart of Mother 3, they're online but they're obviously fanmade so I don't know if that'd be bad for you collection.

Awesome collection! Just wondering, though. Why'd you put the order of the mario and luigi Wii remotes as well as the mario and luigi GameCube controllers with mario on the right and luigi in the left? Wouldn't it make more sense to have it mario to the left and luigi to the right? Because it's read in order from left to right. Thanks.
