2014 onwards Skoda Fabia Stop Start Error

31°C here in upstate New York with 90% humidity. Usually a loose petrol (fuel) cap causes fault codes, stop/start is relatively new here. The check engine light usually comes on in the US. So, it is usually good to click the petrol cap two-three times that it is on there good. New vehicles have no cap, I hate that!

On servicing diesel and air filter on 2016 Fabian Monte Carlo diesel. Self bleed on diesel filter drains battery good30 mile run will charge and get stop start working again. Leave activated. Do not run with air sensor for air filter disconnected.

If you do not have this silly stop/start system then you will not have to fix this very tiresome problem !
