I luv replacing those,,,NOT! Try loosening the sub-frame bolts, just to lower it for a little more working room, if you haven't tried that yet. I use an air chisel bit for splitting exhaust pipes, place the bit at the top of the bushing sleeve, and have at it. It will start to split the sleeve and drive the bushing out forward relatively fast and easier.

good advise. i do have a new bushing kit I want to try buy but don't have a car to use it on yet
