Nice review. I actually learned a couple of things that I was unaware of. I paid 72k US for mine, pdk, sport chrono, sport steering wheel, sport seats, and 20" carrera s wheels in graphite. I love the car, it gets a lot of attention in white with the graphite wheels, but I could not justify spending 85k to 100k US, well optioned version. You simply move in to another category of car in the 85-100k price point. The cup holders actually do ok,because whats a car like this worth if you can't enjoy a cup of coffee while driving it? Also, I could never justify driving one through winter, just too pretty! I chose this vehicle over the new c7 corvette simply for it's uniqueness, engineering, and exclusivity. I had a corvette grandsport prior to this, vehicle and have to say that the Cayman is more satisfying to drive, although the removable top on the vette was a nice touch. All and all a fantastic car if you option it correctly. The roar the S makes when you stand on it is awesome,,,rightfully described as the "Porsche Howl",,,, love it! Keep the car options performance oriented only and you will have a killer sports car for under 75k,,,,,get crazy with the options and you will have a 100k that in 3 years will be worth the same as my 75k car......

I'm impressed with the quality and content of this review. Loved how you showed what's behind many of those panels. Did want to point out that Porsche does offer a reverse facing camera option. Love you hear how you feel about the performance of the base Cayman. It's so easy to get sucked into thinking a Cayman S is the only real option, but I can remember when a 911 Carerra had less HP than the new base Cayman.

Our Porsche Cayman won't start anymore. This isn't some kind of advertising but please check out the latest uploaded video on my channel, it shows what happens when I try to turn on the 2006 cayman. Issue w spoiler is every douchy highway patrol cop knows it goes up after 70. They follow then bust if u pull over 65. Looks very Robocop but watch out for smokey
