All this thing does is change the position of your foot, not at the start and still max when you floor it. It can only change in-between. So it might mean you get halve power when only pressing 25%, but you would have gotten exactly the same half pressing the accelerator. Like you say, it makes the accelerator more touchy. Nothing else is changed. In my case, when I got mine dyno tuned and my tuner increased the throttle response just a bit (and that is what most people need/want). And beyond the benefits of dyno tune, it cost me nothing to get it done. Just fine for me.

Otr and tune is what a tuner told me was best for increase in power for that motor

It definitely is. It’s something I’ll do soon. In the meantime the throttle controller makes it a lot more snappy.

Yep, and get the tuner increase the throttle response a bit and that is what most of us want and not much more.

Thanks legend. The throttle controller is a really good addition. The plenum spacer also seems to be doing what it claims. It's satisfying when cheap mods make even the slightest difference

Just a quick question, made a few bucks on NEDs with some preseason bonus bets and cashed out early.. soooo, thought getting a throttle controller would be a bit of fun for my Calais V lfx. Just installed it and yes, I believe these lfx motors can be a bit lazy to take off for what they are - US Camaro owners are forever making performance improvements to their cars and love a few extra hp here and there, and yes I believe the throttle controller (same as yours) has made a noticable difference to my own Calais V, especially in traffic when you just want to keep up with the car infront of you and not have that putlitzer prize lag drenched all over you. I also suspect there are more than a few cars with the black edition hidden somewhere getting around, which I only suspected after installing mine and looking around. Anyway, my question is do you still use your throttle controller, has it been a good or bad choice and would you still recommend them for a lfx engine? Cheers mate 😄

Did you try it in sport's mode + aka launch control U6 🤪 on stealth throttle controller then manually tap the gear's in sport's mode changing gear's at 4500rpm seems to be the sweet spot well for my vf international anyways only got the high flow cats and throttle controller atm and it's a huge difference Will be even better to finish exhaust and get and otr a underdrive pulley belt and tune 👌🏾 will be sweet

I'm in Townsville and will be getting my exhaust done soon my mechanic said TMS is the go to place here for a tune so I'll hit them up and see what happens lolllllllll wish I had a lfx but I only got a LFW 😅

Hi, I like your videos a lot and I am a subscriber because it helps me and others, if you don't mind can you give feedback regarding safety issues, My question is what if the throttle controller's device suddenly fails? or was the little wire accidentally cut? Do we still have the control of gas pedal, especially on the highway? or it will be back to normal mode? Thank you for hoping you can enlighten us. thank you again!

Interesting question. I know that you can change the settings while you’re driving so I can imagine that if the unit failed it would simply default back to the vehicles throttle system

Its all just marketing kids, still the same engine, if you want the car to launch everytime you take-off, save yourself the $200 and just press the pedal harder, that's all this is doing

The butterfly won’t open even if the foot is flat to the floor. The throttle controller allows it to open wider at lower revs. It definitely makes a big difference
