2014 Volkswagen Tiguan, Check Engine Light, Evap Issue

I used to get the readiness monitor charts from vw service info. I’m not sure they are available anymore. But I learned some of the channels from that. There might be some info on Ross tech wiki website.

My 2012 Jetta S with 2.0 engine has had P0444 for over 2 years now. Changed the valve with no testing and cleared the code. It came right back. Changed the gas cap and checked wiring at the valve and found nothing wrong. What might be the problem? No other codes.

You might need odis (factory scantool). I do not know if the autel will be able to do that function

Can you tell me the location of the transmission control module on a 2008 Volkswagen GTI 2.0t? I literally cannot find it for this vehicle on any of the data available to me and I do not feel like buying an FSM just to figure out where they put the stupid thing. I am currently rebuilding the engine due to a timing chain tensioner that broke (seperate issue). You probably can guess what happened from there. But this is a car I had looked at for a family memeber before this that had lost communication to the TCM right before the motor blew. I was going to fix it before this but didn't have the chance. I took the car off his hands and am going to flip it since he got another car and it was for next to nothing. Not my normal business, I usually work as a mobile technician but I saw profit here. There was also a P420 which I will deal with later. That's easy enough to diagnose. I just need to find the TCM so I can do an actual diagnosis on the wiring when the engine is finished. I can tell it isn't in the engine bay considering I removed literally every piece of it and haven't found it. I found it easier to remove the engine and transmission as a whole. Do you know where I can find it?

Is it a dsg transmission? If it is, it is located in the transmission. Basically the mechatronics unit is the tcm. Do all your checks at the barrel connector on the transmission

Yeah. The older vws had readiness charts that you could use to set the monitors after repairs for emissions.

I learned some of the channel numbers just from experience when setting readiness for emissions on the older mk4s. Used to get the readiness charts from service info
