2015-2019 Kia Sedona cabin air filter

The air flow arrows should be facing down. It's pulling air in through the cowl. That's how it filters the air coming in.

Thanks for the video. I checked and you did put it in upside down. I was confused too. But the air flows from the fan above into the filter from above and down into the blower which then blows out to the vents. The old dirty side shows you where the air came from; on yours it came from above and all the big stuff got stuck and flowed down to the blows and out to the vents. From what I read it will still work fine but won’t last as long because it will get clogged faster since the bigger holes are on top and usually grab the big debris and the holes get smaller through the filter and to the bottom. If it’s upside down the big debris will quickly fill up the small holes and clog it up faster.

When pulling out the old dirty filter, it is dirty on the top not the bottom so how would the air flow be going up ⬆️ ? Looking at the owners manual it says air flow ⬇️.. I was confused at first when I took out the old filter and saw the arrow pointing up but it was dirty on top.

I'm not sure on that but I know that the filter sits on top of the blower which in my head I would assume the air flow is going up

@@juanslifestyle8210 it flows from the intake fan down into the filter and down to the blows and then out to the vents.

@@juanslifestyle8210 no dude. the blower always pulls air from the top and blows it downward to the floor. filter is on top on the blower because the duct that pulls outside air sucks in twigs and leaves around the wiper area.
