I installed these on my 2013 F150. They kicked the front end out wider. Brought it straight to the alignment shop to get it all dialed in, but man this truck now wanders all over the road. I can’t figure it out, but it’s a very noticeable wander vs before the install. I’ve had several sets of eyes go over everything to make sure I didn’t miss a simple bolt or anything.

did you ever figure this out? Im looking at these too and I find it curious the tuff country website says " Requires aftermarket wheels with 5" backspacing or less."... I was hoping to use them with my factory wheels - i have the same ones in this video...

When and how did you torque the upper control arms?

Sometimes...you just have to ugga dugga and call it dinner time. Can't always get a torque wrench into every bolt

When you tightened the castle nut, did you do it all by hand until it tightened or did you use a torque wrench? I just tightened my passenger side one and it got all cross threaded within a minute or two.

Start by hand and finish with either wrench or impact. Depends on room and what I have out already lol

The metal piece you slid in doesnt look like mine, mine is almost as big as the bushing, i wonder if its packaged wrong

You talking about the bushing? Maybe they put the wrong one in the package. Did you contact them yet?

Won’t gain any height. These are more for travel and not hitting the control arm against the strut

The rims on your truck are factory ? No issues with the new UCA and factory rims

He has aftermarket rims on his truck so I'm not sure if there would be any issues with factory or not. Hopefully somebody who knows will chime in

Those are the factory wheels in the video. Most UCA manufacturers say you need at most 5.5" backspacing where the factory are closer to 6".

He should have any problems with factory wheels as long as his tires aren’t wider then 11 or 11.5 inches. I forget which one it is.

Shoot I don't remember. I don't remember if the instructions called for grease either. Typically my mentality is sticky and slippery and it works haha

I know people who do this without removing anything but brake lines brackets. No point in removing the coil overs or swaybar
