I had the same exact symptoms you described. A neighbor of mine is a mechanic but when he ran the scanner it don’t have a code. I replaced the sensor with an OEM sensor from Amazon and everything seems to be working. I test drove it to let it get hot and it never shut off and when I turned it off it restarted no problems. Thank you so much for the video, really helped me out. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Did your vehicle ever have a complete power failure, I'm having an issue where the car starts and then dies, losing all power. Nothing electrical will work. It's happened twice now, the 1st time the car started after 5 min, the 2nd time the car didn't start. I haven't had a chance to let it sit to test again. But if you never lost complete power I'm thinking it might be a different issue.

I am looking for this part number on Rock auto but what do u mean by OEM I think is what your saying. I looked up that part number but a bunch came up as result. SKU, Delphi, Mando, beck/arnley, walker, Holstein, spectra premium, and a few others. How do I know which one to pick? A few say they are made to OEM standards and they all say OEM/ interchangeable numbers: (part number) I am so lost when it comes to ordering parts..please help!!!

The one that I used was beck arnley and what I mean by oem is the original parts for the vehicle. Aftermarket crankshaft sensor won't work for that vehicle.

Yes after installing the sensor and resetting the ecm the van runs with no problems
