Awesome 300 by Rash!! With the exception of that messenger shot, all shots were dead carries!! I had a shot at my first 300 a couple weeks ago..had first 10 in a row and went for 11 but left a flat 10 pin...hit the pocket but I kind of spun the ball a little which delayed my hook. Couldn't even feel my feet when I did that shot lol Can't wait to get back to that point again...hopefully soon :)

something i noticed is Rash also put his towel on ball rack (on top of balls even) and yet Pete Weber complained about Belmo doing that in USBC Masters (and Belmo didn't even put on top of Weber's ball then.. just on the ball rack and it touched Weber's ball).. seems like Weber was just a sore loser and just using that as an excuse

Belmo has an advantage because he gets more lift on the ball with two hands, thereby causing the pins to scramble more, often taking out corner pins.

Given the history between the two, Rash was surprisingly complimentary of Belmo's bowling in the interview at 1:21:18. I figured he would address his own bowling but totally ignore what Belmo did. Generally don't like Rash's behavior but will give him credit for how he handled this interview.

Well if Belmo wasn't being a complete dick to Rash in the past he would have more respect for Belmo. Plus Belmo putting his towel on Webers ball? he shouldn't do that, he has his own balls to put his towel on.

Intended or not, it's a bad habit and the rule needs to be updated. Last year, Weber had a line judge request Belmo stop putting his towel on Weber's ball. I wouldn't care in league play but if I were a paid professional you can bet I'd done the same thing Weber did.
@brood910
@brood910 7 жыл бұрын
It doesnt even do any harms to your bowling balls. Pretty sure weber was upset because he was losing. Belmo did the same thing in 2012, and Weber didnt get mad at all because he was winning lol. It's a fact that Weber is a whiny hot-tempered player.

Unfortunately the lefties didn't stand a chance to win this telecast at all. The headpin was always off-set slightly to the left which made their pocket smaller and the righties pockets bigger so it was a lot harder for lefties to carry on this pair. (This was also the reason for the weird pin 8s)

All of those cranking the ball or bowling with 2 hands,enjoy it while you can.Most if not all of you will NOT be doing it in a few years.It's impossible to do over and over for any length of time without doing damage of some kind to the body.Eventually it'll happen.Just look at who was ranked #1 golfer in the world not too long ago with that awesome power swing.And is now ranked 104th or something like that.There have been several guys try to "make it" on the pro tour without using their thumb or some unorthodox style.They lasted a while.I know Belmonte has been doing it his whole life.And he's "making hay while the sun shines" for him.I'm sure even he knows the reality of it.As long as he doesn't get hurt he'll keep doiong it.Good thing is.He can bowl with one hand.But how good is he?

I read this and it saved my bowling career. I bowl one handed and even though I can put revs on it (300+ at 12 mph and not even a teen) I was really worried about two handed bowling becoming too much of a challenge to win a lot. So yeah anyway thank you for posting this to give a reality check to all those two handed wannabes (not belmo of course, he's in the pba) who think they're hot stuff. :D
@jeffbear3075
@jeffbear3075 9 жыл бұрын
And it's o.k. to think your hot stuff.And to bowl 2 handed.While your young IS the time to do it.And you may even learn how to maintain your physical game.A lot of guys have done that.Duke,Bohn,W.R.WIlliams,Weber and many others all look like the weigh within 20 lbs of what the did 20 years ago. But just the very act of bowling.The repetitive act with the shoulder and the strain on knees and ankles takes it's toll.And long term,the styles like Pete Weber and Belmo are hard to maintain.Both have rolled the ball the way they do since they were kids.I don't think a coach taught them to do what they do.It came natural.And Weber became a pro at 19.Belmonte has only been a pro for 6 years.That a LOT of years trying to perfect a style that could be over in a year or so.

I don't think so...Earl Anthony will always be the best....He won all of his in the shortest amount of time. Walter Ray took 3 times longer to catch him and to finally pass him and Weber has been a pro for 36 years and is just now getting close to 40 wins.
