The launch control is more for your fastfood drive through type of scenario then drag racing
@jacobpatrickyoung92879 жыл бұрын
That was pretty funny 😂

Yer that's y it's slower cuz then if it was faster u would either ram someone up the ass or be waiting for ur food

Dezagon I'm sure this Bike has sooooo much more potential. I've just REALLY gotta learn how to use the launch control. Indeed...

Sad part is is that there’s a lot of squids that use it because it’s faster then then trying to ride it in slick mode

Hey Tom!, I am a big fan of your videos for years. I have had my licence for just about 1 year and for my 49th birthday went to the drags at Perth Motor plex for my first time ever on my 2014 Zx14r . I had five runs on the night , first run was 10.29 secs my second run was my best of the night with 10.18 secs.

@husky701rider97 жыл бұрын
TRX VLOGGER ya cruisers can make a lot of power but they don't have the handling to back it up. You'll drag peg quickly if you go to quick into a corner. I'd never build a cruiser with that much power I'd be worried I'd crash it on a twisty road.
@TRX450RVlogger7 жыл бұрын
Ian Jacob Yeah true! lol
@johnjacob6887 жыл бұрын
You would be surprised at how fast a cruiser can attack the twisties. The reason you don't see it much is because guys that typically ride cruisers aren't in it to put a knee down.

@Max-vq9xd9 жыл бұрын
He's a shitty rider anyway. He's just rich and can afford. Who the fuxk rides whilst constantly covering the front brake. It's dangerous and less control

***** What does make you think that someone with a 15k dollar bike is rich? It's cheaper than a brand new Civic...
@MrOutdoors0079 жыл бұрын
Hey keyboard warriors, stop fighting. I don't think anyone wants anything, especially a guy named Max. I wouldn't say he is RICH, but he definitely has money. When you buy a $10,000 bike, then an $18,000 bike, then your WR back, you have some money. Some poor guy cant just pull $30,000+ out of his ass. Now quit fighting, I don't think anyone wants to see it

Fair play for doing it with no aids. I just had a day out doing this on Sunday, watched this video a few times beforehand. What was your best 60 foot time. Good runs but the last run without aids kind of bogged down. So much power on the top end. Almost 30 years my stock FJ1200 did 11.15s, 60 foot time 1.60 9,000 rpm launch with a slipping clutch. A better and much lighter rider on his FJ1100 was at 11.50s although the top speeds where 30 mph slower than you are running. These new bikes have so much power to handle at launch. Nice video.

I got the 2018. do you just dump the clutch or do you still gradually release it? If so what is LC for if i can do it manually by gradually releasing the clutch. What else does it control apart from not exceeding 8k or so rev. I havent tried LC before so im kinda worried that i might wheelie and crash

I finally got the opportunity to run my 2016 RR. Made 3 passes. 11.09 11.300 and a 10.80. Full leathers, Helmet and boots 280lbs. 3/4 tank of fuel. I also forgot to pull the mirrors back, every little thing helps. This was my first time running the quarter on a motorcycle. Even with my fat ass on there I think it's possible to run 9's with some tweaking. I didn't even try slick mode. I pulled a raging wheelie my first run in race mode, the front end never touched the ground until after the 1/8 mile mark. It's never done that on the street in race mode.
