I’m in the process of a water pump on my 07 express 6.0 it started out as just a thermostat replacement but ended up a water pump replacement after one of the bolts for the thermostat housing broke 🙈 anti seize is a good idea hope you used some 😐

just did my 2014 gmc yukon with 178,000 mi, I took the hose off so I could cleanup the housing where the seal seats, a fairly easy job last month I changed the radiator also a easy 1 hr job

Now what made you change it? My truck is at 120K on my 2015 2500 6.0. Wondering if i should do mine.

Nice video but on those 6.0 gas engines i will definitely use the OEM thermostat instead of aftermarket

wondering the same thing if you mean liquid sealant gasket i see the rubber gasket on the thermo but is that completely leak proof
