2015 ford modeo 2.0L turbo, timing chain tutorial installation

ford mondoe 2015 eco boost 2.0L turbo this motor doest have any key on crankshaft gear and camshafts vvt gear doing a timing chain little bit tricky specially without a specific tool or special tool to lock the crankshaft and camshaft also the harmonic balancer. this job had blown head gasket.

How do you know which position the VVT sprockets are supposed to go in?

thanks, Good question diego vvt sprockets doesn't have any timing marks or keyway advance and retired position will automatically set by the vvt solenoid during operation, crankshaft gear as well no marks only you have to do is use the special tools to set the timing.

How do you set harmonic balancer in time with the engine?

Lock the crankshaft using the locking tool pin, in my memory set the harmonic balancer 12 ock big gap of the reluctor wheel and count 21 teeth then use the locking tool for the reluctor wheel as shown in the video. tight the crankshaft bolt in the specific torque, hope it will help.
