An entertaining review as always. I do have a few notes: You were spot-on with the rear seat height assessment. 5' 7" and I have zero headroom in the back. The belt is not locked to the front seat, the strap is attached with a strong magnet. The 1-2 shift is rough because 1st is very short. You have to wait a little bit longer for the tach to settle, or release the clutch gently. I find myself starting in second often. Yes the clutch is weird, the engagement point is very high at about 1/2 travel.

Actually, while flying, we use the measurements of Ground Speed and Air Speed. Air Speed is the speed at which the air is moving across the aircraft, if you are flying into the wind this would be higher and flying with the wind this would be lower at the same relative ground speed. Ground speed is the speed at which the aircraft is moving in relation to the ground. Ground speed can be calculated by Air Speed + or - wind speed, depending on wind direction. So "Ground Speed" is definitely an aviation term.

Hey Nick, I really like your reviews, I actually saw you reviewing this car and the A3 1.8t recently, these two cars are sitting quite in the same budget, they are quite diff cars but with 30-31k what would you get the A3 1.8t or this Mustang Ecoboost? the mustang has more hp and more torque but you drove both of them what are your thoughts and what would you choose for your daily car? thanks and keep the videos coming!
@NickMurray9 жыл бұрын
Yuen Ching Cheung Good question, such different cars in every way. I think it would come down to a persons preference in style more than anything, I would love to have either as they both have their strong points. The Mustang is a more fun car to drive but the A3 is more refined.
@YuenChingCheung9 жыл бұрын
Nick Murray Had my test drive today with the Mustang, but end up getting the A3, they are totally different as you said, the mustang is way sportier and has more pull and power but the A3 wins in comfort, thanks for the advice and keep up the good job, love the gorillas btw nice touch!

It continues to amaze me how much reliable power modern car companies can get from such tiny motors. My first car was a mid-70's Ford with a 400 cubic inch motor that, thanks to emmission gear, had less than 175 hp. And maybe 200 torque. Nice review, Nick. Pity they can't figure out a way of letting adults fit in the back. Your M4 has no problems in that department, does it?

Hello nick murray ! Great channel keep up the good reviews ! I have a question for you. I currently own a e90 335 x drive sedan 2011 and im thinking of switching to a 335 f30. If it was you would you make the switch or would you stay with the e90 since it seems the e90 is more sporty and nimble than the f30 id like to get your advice on this one :)???

I have the same car e90 328xi and im thinking to move 328i f30 fully Loaded sportline is it Worth ?
@NickMurray10 жыл бұрын
Interesting question guys. I think many people have this E90-F30 issue where the older car was in many ways better than the new car so why pay to upgrade.The E90 335/328, were a little more sporting as you say and strangely the guilty of materials on the F30s has gone down. However you do get many new toy options if that is important to you. If it were me I would hold on another year and see what the new Audi S4/A4 is like or look at the new C class. Or maybe a secondhand M?
@Bours91110 жыл бұрын
Nick Murray than you for the reply mr.murray ! And may i ask why did you upgrade to the m4 if you had a m3 e92 ?? Would you get another e92 if you had the chance. What are the pros and cons of the m3 v8 cause im considering one myself since i cant afford a second hand f80 m3/4 for the moment :) and the new gen s4 is coming out next year !?
@Bours91110 жыл бұрын
Nick Murray also whats your thoughts on the new c class ? Personally i think its more of luxury car than a sports car like the 3 series and i would never consider that option but i have to admit they nailed it on the design !

Bigger wheels would fill in the arches more? When you get bigger rims, the tires are thinner. Otherwise it would completely throw off odometer readings. The only proper way to "fill up the arches more" would be to lower the car. How does a car guy not know this?
@alradyh10 жыл бұрын
Oh snap nick fucking murray back with another hot one. Tell me nick, have you herniated your disc yet? Because one man cannot possibly carry that much swag without suffering a chronic lower back condition. Really though my question is as follows: do you think its stupid for a young, relatively poor college student to buy an e30 3-series considering the maintenance and part replacement involved? To be more specific, should I spend 15 to 20k on a reliable Japanese car or 7-10k on an e30 and spend the rest bringing it back to life? Am I going to regret buying an e30? Thanks for the videos and keep up the good shit.
@NickMurray10 жыл бұрын
Oh Rady, what a horrible question to ask, you know the E30 is one of my favorite all time cars so how can I tell you to get some boring Corolla? Really however the answer depends on how much you like working on cars yourself, if you do, get the E30, you will never be bored, if not, don't do it until you have more cash on hand as it will bleed you dry my friend.
@austinismadcrunk10 жыл бұрын
You could get a cool Japanese car like an KE70 or AE86 Corolla, an MX72 Cressida wagon, an MX83 Cressida, an FC3S RX7 (rotary though, meaning they break), an S13/S14, LS400, SC300, etc etc. There are so many cool RWD Japanese cars out there.

If I couldn't afford the GT model I would probably just not buy a Mustang at all. I do like the looks of it and I don't doubt that it's a nice car to drive though.
@chrisgarret32859 жыл бұрын
+Jagh Haringenamn That was my opinion too, before I drove one. I didn't buy it but only on account of having kids. The eco boost is very nice, I was impressed. I rented the automatic and normally you would want to stay away from it however due to gearing its faster to 60 than manual. Also the paddle shifters are pretty nice and as control over the engine goes get the job done well allowing you to stay in the torque band. When you do, I'll tell you what the 5.1 seconds to 60 seem conservative, I think that's in auto mode. This thing is pretty quick especially via paddle shifters. Steering is my biggest gripe, the 3 modes work well but I didn't think steering was precise enough, that was surprising.
