Yeah but sometimes form plays a crucial role when it comes to batsman and unfortunately Gayle was not in form but Guptill was in form and he showed it gotta feel for Gayle I have been a huge supporter of Gayle from my childhood watching him play for the West Indies and when every delivery touches the bat it’s only sixes and some fours rarely he gets.The same goes for every batsman when they are in form and not in form.

Guptill stopped the ball with his bat whereas Stokes handled the ball with his hand. There’s a difference. By the laws of cricket a batter is out if he handles the ball with his hands but not out if he uses his bat.
