You should tuck it up high and build a splitter to direct the air from under the light to the radiator, that would be sweet

naw. for 1, its hidden anyway. for 2, its a functional mod for night hill driving. smoking it would make it less bright. (and more hidden which i guess is your point)

Gonna look clean! May wish to use some reflective insulation / dynamat around the areas where the heat dissipation part of the bar may be close to plastics - I don't know how hot that bar gets but it would concern me a little.

i was reading on the wrx page on Facebook that some guy started having high heat oil levels after installing the light bar in that location.

i know my oil temps well, and on the hottest of hot days, my oil temp is 204-210F. So if indeed it gets higher after this, I will certainly take the light bar off.

Mark, gotta ask? Have wondered why don't you back your car up in the garage anytime you have to do front end work so you have natural light??

Would a 32" light bar also work in this same scenario? It seems as if there is still plenty of room. Do you think a 32" light bar would fit with the stock horn in place?
