Own a 2018 gsxr 750 blk/red ..loveeeeee this bike!! Best bike for the street..great ergos..low sear height.comfy for commuting. The bike isnt a 1000 in terms of power but once you get to 8k rpms its a beaaaast!! Redlines to 14k revs..handling is greeeeeat..light light bike..148hp ..its a 600 on STEROIDS..easy to read controls..beautiful soooooo beautiful...gas mileage is nice for around town..youll get 140 miles on a full tank..93 premium about 12$ to fill up..if you get this bike you will not be disappointed..looking foward to many great years of riding.. Btw the shifter is okay after a few hundred miles...its a raw bike..no abs but the brakes do WORK when squeezed properly..also the suspension is a 6/10..you will feel ever lilttle rock but the bike is VERY SOLID..in all I give the 750 gsxr a A- only bc it lacks abs, traction control, no auto blipper, no quick shifter...pinn that throttle n u forget all that 🙂🙂🙂😎

I went from a 390 to a 750. Honestly I was a little disappointed with top end power. Maybe that's just me. But I love it. The gear box has definitely smoothed out have over 5xxx and few oil changes on her. It breaks every speed limit in my region in first gear. It clutches up in third it honestly man I have very minimal complaints about it. It drags knee like nothing and makes you feel like a boss. It's been the exact bike since 2011 so if that tells you anything. It works. I commute on it every day. Yeah its like most performance bikes. It doesn't make a whole lot of under 7k rpm. But trust me it pulls. And keeps up superbly well with 1k's. Especially if you know what you're doing.

It’s a great bike. You can adjust everything on it. The only difference on it compared to the 600 is the engine size. You can swap the 750 on a 600 which is great. I have the 600 and I’m stuck on weather I should bore it out or just do the 750 swap.

In regards to the powerband. It's advertised that the 2015 gsxr 750 has a lower first gear ratio compared to past models. So the powerband feels similar to a 600 because the 750 takes longer to rev up because of the gearing. Second gear, third, fourth etc. are all close ratio so the engine gets into it powerband and stays there. But when you reach it look out because it is a monster. I would know, because I have one :)
@ehart345 жыл бұрын
i have the 600 and even on that bike 100 in 6th no it wont shine you would have to be going faster to really feel it in 6th gear, it likes to be reved up. dont expect much below 9000 rpm, i alomost never use 6th gear beacause i like to have the power on tap so i always ride at high rpms.

Im surprised that no one else mentioned this. You are trying to shift as if you have a shorty lever. Its not set up like that tho, you have to pull the clutch in all the way then it may be a little easier to shift.
@allsystemsgootechaf98856 жыл бұрын
Daniel Reimer you shouldnt even use the clutch when hitting those high rpms the gearbox is designed to float
@nenadmomcilovic91335 жыл бұрын
@@allsystemsgootechaf9885 This is the comment I was looking for. on my old 2007 gsxr1000, it was lift off throttle and slide it into gear at liftoff. Only really used clutch at slow speeds. I also had the clutch pedal reversed, made 'fun' rides easier.

I have an L5 GSXR 750 and I can relate to any weird shifting concerns. It seems to be very all or nothing during shifting and at times the transmission seems very hard. I've been riding for nearly 10 years and this is the first bike that I can relate to. It's a rough transition. Good review, Chase.
@mototig29164 жыл бұрын
I got a 2018 750 a few months ago. Maybe they fixed the shifting, because I can bang through gears on this thing. I don't notice a different between A and B modes. Only problem I've found with the bike is the clutch. I feel like I have to give it excessive gas to get going, otherwise it makes a clanking sound. Other than that the bike is amazing. A lot faster than my old 600, claimed 150 crank HP from Suzuki, and comfortable. It's a perfect commuter bike.

Always have the bike adjusted to you before test riding people... if it doesn't fit to your body you know what you need to buy for a comfortable ride. These costs will need to be considered before purchasing. Also, you are more likely to crash if the bike is not fit to you, and no one wants to crash on a test ride...
