2015 Terrain Denali Headlight removal

I just changed my bulbs. Even without the wheel well special access hole it is still easier to do through the wheel well. Just remove two push pins and two hex head screws pull the corner of the wheel well cover out and you have easy access to your bulbs. Very easy to push the fender well cover back in place and re insert the two push pins and two screws. took about 10min and 5 min was just getting the tools lol.

My wife found this video for me and asked if I thought I could do it. The reason she asked is because I’m disabled and if I have to get on the ground it takes an act of congress to get me back up because my legs are very weak. But after watching the video I’ll be giving it a shot tomorrow if it doesn’t rain. I’ll let you know how it went. This video makes it seem so easy, thank you for posting it. Gracias amigo

Well done step by step instructions. If you're replacing both high and low bulbs as I did, this is the way to do it. This was the first time for me doing this so I took my time bagging and marking the parts I removed and it took me 1:45 hr. on my 2017 Terrain. Thanks for the video.

I’m thinking hit up the local U-Pull-It junkyard, get the 2010 - 2014 inner fender well and replace yours with that one. Most are only about $5 - $10 for the skin. Should make life easier in the future and I think less of a headache. God knows those clips will all break as your removing them. Thank God my Denali is a 2014. Headlight replacement was less than 5 minutes. Good Luck.

Michael B Not Hard at all. All you need to do is remove the clips from the wheel well splash guard and you have access to the fog lights on the bottom. I upgraded the fog lights to LED but I have yet to edit and publish the video.

Tell me about it. Took me a couple of times before I got the workflow down to something repeatable. Sucks that this Denali doesn't have the access port in the wheel well like the other trims.

I tried to do that at first but it was a huge pain in the butt for me. My hands didn't fit well enough on the access hole behind the headlight to reach all the different bulbs. Much easier taking the headlight out completely in my opinion.

And yes I was very happy with them. It's very rare that I have to the high beams, but when I did, theh sent out a lot of light with a decent beam pattern.

Why did GM eliminate those round access holes that were in the fender liners!??? I think 2014 was the last yr they used them. Now you have to resort to taking off those liners or doing what you have done in this video! Ridiculous!

Wow what a fuckin pain in the fuckin ass! I have a 27 year old vehicle and it literally takes 1 fuckin minute to access the light fixture and replace the bulb and put the light fixture back into place! One fuckin minute! You would think a vehicle from 2015 would be easy to replace a light bulb. This is bull fucking shit!

I know right!!! My 2001 Impala you just put your hand in there remove 2 clips and the whole headlight housing pops out.
