Wouldn't be an Arab ration without a packet of dates. Even without vacuum packing dates can last a surprisingly long time, and are a relatively dense source of calories. In the IDF whenever recruits complain about the quality of the food they're sometimes told that a Syrian sniper can live for a week off a single bag of dates.

24 hour packs always looks like a lot however when you start to consider its suppose to cover 3 meals and hopefully a snack at night most 24 hour ration packs actually fall short. Also when you notice the lack of variety in the menus you see why UAE went with quantity. I remember when I was in a lot of times we would be issued 4 regular MRE daily instead of the 24 ration to address the quantity and variety issues

I really admire how broad your pallet is. I do know from experience that when you're starving, you gotta do what you gotta do. I've never liked berries or most fruits. I understand how much I miss out on because of this, but I can't seem to get over it. Reguardless, your videos are Top Notch! I live here, and in the streets you find english in any shop.... You can read the shops or any commericial or business shops or such in english, all the streets and street sign are all english and arabic too..... Sorry for the bad english
