Nathan Jennings Haha, yeah I think my wallet will be blown before my mind is. Some good riding in England but only enroute to Wales and Scotland. I like the way the motor industry is going with car design. Looking forward to technology on bikes to keep pace also. Head up display, collision risk GPS zones, phone app interaction, stationary gyro stabilization, onboard multi-directional cameras with cloud storage, electric front hub two wheel drive with Kinetic Energy Recycling, carbon frame weight loss, auto morphing panels for aerodynamics and wind protection, self cleaning paintwork and on and on.

I love the K1600 GTL too. However, it would be a tough decision between this bike and the new 2018 Goldwings with all the new tech upgrades. I still like the Beamers a little better (e.g., more refined, better power, etc.), but it's hard to argue with the extensive Honda dealer networks and their overall stellar rep for reliability.

I love this bike,but only one concern came to my mind,is that a battery visible from both sides or there are some covers being removed for purpose of the video?? Please tell me there are covers.

MarktheHunter on the K1600 models the battery is under the seat but is encapsulated in a battery tray, it's not the physical battery you are seeing but the box it sits in under the seat. Hope this eases some of your concerns and let me knows if I can assist you more in any way. Cheers, ~Nate

So just this so can you confirm the 2016 model gtl takes navi 5 or 6

A B Yes, it will take both but the portal is cut for the Nav 5 so you will not have the entire Nav 6 screen in view, unless, you swap the plate with a newer model and that is pretty inexpensive! Cheers, ~Nate

One of my favorite models is ilium works because they are fully adjustable. Some don't like the angles of the highway legs on the stock engine guards due to the aggressive angle. Dober Mann I bought a 2018 BMW K 1600 GTL, brand new. I’m much satisfied with it. I also have a 2008 Harley Davidson Road King Classic with super tuner and screaming eagles exhausts. There’s nothing wrong with Harleys!! Both bring joy in its on way😁😁😁
