All you had to do to remove the seat belt was just pop off the little cover. Then there should be a t30 screw you remove. Less part to take off.

C.mechelle Banks2011 The process of taking the seats out is not as complicated as it seems. The wires underneath are designed to be unplugged without much hassle. You do need to be careful to unplug power before accessing the airbag though. If you do not feel comfortable with this process we would recommend taking your vehicle to a professional for installation. This process is not for everyone.

Do those seats get really hot during the hot weather compared to the stock leather ones.? Stock ones have little vent wholes I don’t know if that does anything to cool the leather down

m ob Perforation, the little pinholes, is typically just for looks unless you have cooled seats and do not really affect how fast the leather cools down. The cool thing about natural top-grain cowhide leather is that it acclimates to your body temperature fairly quickly, unlike vinyl that retains heat much longer. The only reason they wouldn't is if your passenger seat has a foam mounted occupancy detection sensor, but even then you can add it into the driver seat at minimum. As far as we know both seats are able to have seat heaters installed on them. It seems like the leather on this installation is not tight like factory leather? How do you get the leather to have the factory look?

Take a look at the finished results near the end of the video 19:52 or the fully installed seat in the video opener. The fit is very tight and actually fits better than many OEM interiors. If you only watched the portion during install before he finished everything, it may not have looked tight yet because he wasn’t done fitting the covers. We attach our leather upholstery using the similar attachment points as the factory. This gives the kit a solid placement on the seat foam so that it doesn't "float" around like slip-on covers. One of the keys to getting the leather "tight" is to use steam during the installation which is shown at 6:59 and 10:08. The steam makes the leather more malleable and helps it conform to the seat foam shape better. Also, the leather naturally synchs in with sun-time. We typically let the seats sit in the direct sun before installing them back in the vehicle. I would encourage you to watch the video through the end as I feel that Eric did an solid job on the installation of the this project.

+Luke Morrison The finished fitment comes down to several variables including the condition of seat foam, as well as the skill and techniques used by the installer. That being said, steam and heat is your best friend for the installation of any upholstery kit. Steam is a super useful tool for the fitting of the leather kit and rejuvenating the seat foam. Here is a helpful link on our website talking about how to optimize your fitment with steam: goo.gl/xfd6FQ After the kit is installed we do suggest letting the seats sit in full, direct sunlight for several hours to help reduce wrinkles left from the installation. These are techniques we use on every installation we do.

Our product is intended to replace the factory cloth upholstery, but all of the original core molded foam is reused, which means that the overall density is similar. With that said, most people find leather more comfortable to sit on then the factory cloth.

eliane martins This kit in particular was built in our Deluxe leather trimmed content which has leather on the seating surfaces and a matching automotive grade vinyl on the sides and backs of the front seats. The rear seats have leather inserts only with the rest of the seating surfaces and sides being vinyl. The back of the rear seats also have carpet like the factory.
