If they held the price instead of trying to take more profit by matching the GM twins higher prices, then I think Ford would really have a compelling choice. The independent rear was far ahead of the game when it came out in 2003, but lack of updates and a huge price hike is not a good combo. Our mid-level trim, XLT '03 std length (only kind back then) with the 5.4L V8 stickered at 32.5k. Now it's close to double that for similar trim with essentially an interior refresh and engine upgrade?

this truck is worth no more than 39,999.00 US dollars but 70k is a joke !! its a ford.

72?????? I have the limited 2011 and it was 54k. And it's sooo much nicer. This looks like a downgrade. The grill is terrible and those little fog lights in that big open space. Argh. Hideous. Denali is my next truck for this price!

+Deerector Our 2016 Platinum, EL in ruby red, 22" wheels, second row bucket seats and 4x4 came to 70 grand. Nice ride and happy with it, but slightly disappointed with the lack of updated front end.

Exactly.. I know it's a nice truck and all but 70+? That's crazy. The front end like you said needs to be changed. The grille doesn't have the wide Crome bars either. There are less bars across and they are so thin... They need a total overhauling with this design... It's played out. Over and done with. Nobody is a bigger Ford fan than myself. I had three Expos. 2000, 2003, and now the 2011. This will be my last one though. They need a major change.

A loaded GMC Yukon XL is way nicer then this.
