In this one I'll test drive the NEW 2016 Ford Focus ST along with going over the exterior, interior, engine with some awesome revs as well! Hope you like!

Nice review! Just purchased one for my Wife. First thing we did was get rid of the stock exhaust and replaced it with an MBRP dual exhaust and Ingen Cold Air Intake. Much better sounding and a slight boost in power now that it is breathing better.

Nice, little car! The sound is really awesome!! I like the rims and the downward facing foglights! About the clutch - it's great to recommend this car to people who are new to manual transmission! Good thinking! I like the area where you drive around this time! The white wooden fences and the red house! It really looks like PA and matches to the impressions I had when I was in PA! :) Also nice blue sky with clouds! And certainly the nice PA landscape thru the back view cam!! :D Ah I also like the double exhaust in center position! Nice shape!

This is a great car(and value). I always wanted a MazdaSpeed 3 since it's introduction. When I was Ready to get one back in the end of 2013 I almost got the ST. But went with the 13' Speed 3 and I love my car. for 2 years it's been my daily driver. I oust about 40-60 miles a day and it has its Givin me any issues. I feel that even if if had gotten the ST I would have been happy.

I love my Focus ST. I wanted to let you know that the redesign happened in '15 not '16, and included new front/rear bumpers, headlights, hood, center console, and the steering wheel. This coincided with the whole Focus line redesign.

+James Sicat Not sure about PA but in VA a car is not considered used until its titled. I would expect a discount on the price if it had 500 or more miles for sure. I test drove mine....luckily was the first to do so. Around here you don't go out in one of these without the salesman with you. The regular Focus they'll just toss you the keys and dont really care if it comes back...lol. Not knocking this guy and I am sure the clutch was a different feeling to him but what I wouldn't like is how badly the shifts were in this video. Too high of a gear on a few of his pulls (especially the one in the beginning, he needed 2nd or 3rd not 4th) and on the throttle too soon before engaging the clutch. But it was his first few moments in the car so...we'll let it slide.. :-)

Great review. I own the ST fully loaded and love it! Main dislikes: small gas tank, poor turning radius, want louder exhaust. Likes: Great handling, good power, love the leather Recaro seats!, sleeper car. Overall a very very fun car. I love my ST...but when the RS comes out in the spring of 2016 its going to be very very tempting to upgrade :)

I've had a 2014 ST3, tuxedo black all black leather recaro heated seats, red brake calipers, gun metal grey redo rims and I still get compliments on this car. I've put 31k on it and it runs really solid and the same since the day I got it. The suspension is great, nice and posed but not overly harsh so good daily driver, too, but tight and very capable. I test drove this against the 2015 GTI, (a year newer than the 2014 ST). I test drove both the Focus ST and VW GTI each 3 times and the Focus ST our-performed the GTI and did better on spirited cornering. I tried to turn off traction control on the GTI and, despite there being a mode for it, the traction control can not be turned off, while it can be in the Focus ST. In all honesty, I didn't expect the Focus ST to even be a contender when I set out to test drive them both but, it actually won. Ford has stepped up quality, for sure!

I have the 2013 model st its so much fun and yes it's fast my first attempt 0 to 60 was 6.5 and that was with a bad start and a full car of people and full boot

I'm picking my Stage 1 ST up on Monday. Are the seats bolstered with the cloth? The dealership didn't have one with cloth for me to view, so I was only able to drive one with the Recaro seats. Any info would be much appreciated.

You raved about the base level car and the base level seats. I agree that for around 24K stripped/base model it is a good deal and still nicely equipped but if you can swing a couple grand more the leather Recaro seats, Navi, and upgraded sound system is well worth it. The leather or partial leather (ST2) seats are a MUST have over the base seats you so raved about. As long as your not football player big you'll fit in them just fine.

Having driven a few front wheel drive vehicles, including a regular Ford Focus, I'm wondering if this feels like the classic front wheel drive car where it pulls through corners? I don't really like the way FWD cars drive so I'm wondering if this feels like that?

Yes a little bit... There's definitely some torque steer with this one...but still a ton of fun thanks to a very smooth shifter.

It's a FWD car so yea it feels like what it is complete with torque steer but the rear will rotate on this bitch. Something most FWD cars can't say. Buy one. This car is a hoot to drive!

Sorry if I missed it in the video but is the 23.8 cubic feet boot capacity with the rear seats in their default position or folded down? Also, what trim level did you test here? Are all the features you mentioned in the video available in the base Focus ST? If yes, that makes the ST great value for money!

+Juan Pablo Subaru WRX/STI, Audi A3, VW Golf GTI or the R if you can get it for under 35k, Ford Focus ST & the Mitsubishi Evo although they've stopping making temporarily.

When it gets warmer out everyone drives down Eisenhower and back and typically hangs out at Sheetz at the corner or Eisenhower & Carlisle 👍 Nothing really besides that in Hanover... Shows quite often in Harrisburg tho

The way I can always tell is by the VIN #'s which I always look for...The 10th character in the 17 character VIN represents the model year...The VIN for this car is (1FADP3L90GL207057)...The letter "G" represents 2016 and if it were a 2015 it would have shown me an "F"...I always like to cheat this way just to be sure that what I say is accurate lol.

only the st3 trim level has the carbon trim. this is a st1. st2 and st3 have the Recaro seats.

Because if you shop around, you can get an ST for 20k. The RS is going to be almost twice as much. Can't compare the two. It's two different buying demographics.

+TOn Ton Yeah, any ST you find for around 20k will be a base model. Whether that works for you or not depends on how important navigation, Recaro seats, etc. are to you. I actually bought a leftover 2014 base (ST1) in 2015 for $18,500! Smoking deal.

Something wrong with your videos is that you never have someone recording the outside of the car when driving. All it is , a close up on your face inside the car and that's it. Kinda bugs me a little bit. Just a tip for your future videos..

+Sam Harvey Have you sat in the Recaros? They look nice but they aren't that comfortable for most people. The back seat pan has a really harsh angle which cuts off circulation to your legs after a long drive, and the bolsters can be a little too much. I do wish they would've used the fabric and design of the regular Focus seats and just added a badge, because the fabric ones in the S/SE look better than the fabric ones in the ST IMO. Either that or the fabric ones from the Fusion.
