Changing transmission fluid on a 2016 Honda Accord.
Torque Specs:
- Drain bolt: 36 lb-ft/49nm
- Check bolt: 15 lb-ft/20nm
Refill 3.9 US qt of HFC fluid only!

Hey 3m great informative video, I’m about to do my own for the first time, did you change the transmission fluid filter? Your video and another one I watched both didn’t do the filter change, and I’m just wondering do I need to? Is there a reason you didn’t do it along with the fluid change? My 2016 accord just hit 40k and I have no idea if it’s the original filter or not, any help would be appreciated

On this specific cvt transmission Honda did not use a transmission filter. So no need to worry about that.

@@AliAbdeen434 that’s excellent to hear because I changed the trans fluid 2 days ago and didn’t change a filter so it’s excellent that there isn’t one for me to have to do any other time lol

@@alejandroromero3060 cvt transmission call for every 30,000 miles. I would not recommend 100,000 miles. Just to make sure I would go back to service manual book and see the recommended service interval.
