@John Bremo This may be a bit bias but I suggest our exhaust system. We specifically tuned it to work on the L15 with GDI and turbo tech. We did not just put pipe up there and call it a day. All the notes where tuned for the system. The stock ECU will not compensate for a blend greater than E10. You would need a flex fuel converter and means of tuning.

Just have the torque limited to below 250 when getting a custom tune and you'll be fine

Don’t do it. The CVT’s are an economy transmission and need to be driven as such. I’ve owned 2, and they’ll treat you right if you treat them right

@@27WON I have a 1.5 L 4 cylinder I have it all in my shopping cart on the website But I'm hesitant because I don't know if it's legal and I don't know if my car will pass smog in California. It says it needs to be an EO Turbo charger I don't know what that means.

505fk7 Hatch I have a 2017 CRV 1.5t, will this fit in my (larger) engine bay? And obviously, I have a cvt, so I know power is limited, I'm running a custom hondata tune, with peak torque limited to preserve the cvt, power comes in at 3.5k rpm to 5k rpm, then from 5k - 6k rpm the torque table is lowered but the boost is increased to ease the simulated shifts the cvt does.

Yes, this would fit a CRV and yes as you have mentioned the CVT will be your challenge on power.

You can use this turbo on a stock block. We do along with hundreds of our customers. Just make sure that you have a safe tune to help control torque and you will be okay.

Andrew Hofmann both Hondata and Ktuner have base maps that work with the W1. But as always custom tuning is best.

B C there really honestly wouldn't be a point for this in a CVT. Even with Ktuner you can raise boost pressure for the stock setup and still get some slippage. We with the 6MT even have to change out our clutches because it's just to much for the stock ones.

Carlos Vasquez Intercooler is imoortant, a cool engine is a healthy engine and it gives power. The exhaust is a huge restriktion on the sport as well. Actually fbo 🤣

Looks like I am ordering one of these this week. Our 2017 cvt equipped 17000 mile Civic's turbo is damaged. 3k at a dealer? Omg. Already owning a 1200 plus hp M3 without the Aquamist activated, (yeah that's what turbo's can do on fully built engines with ported heads and raping your wallet) it gets more insane after that, I don't need another race car and am seriously limited by the cvt. Posts elsewhere and serious testing by this company prove that with the right tune their kit actually helps the cvt by shifting torque up higher and giving the cvt a softer hit. Geez, my M3 clutch costs far more than this entire kit. This is pretty cool, and a much easier install than every other kit out there that I looked into. An uneducated high school kid could pull this install off!

@@harryl8234 engine internals not required. IC also not required but you will need a tuning device such as a Hondata or similar to control the larger turbo. Basemaps do come for free with the turbocharger which is great. Then any further tuning is on the end user.
