The CD player is important for those of us who do not chase technology. We spent years acquiring our CD collection, and made a considerable investment to get it. Would we want to throw it out the window merely because some techie-chaser considered it obsolete? I think not! We want to enjoy and use what we've collected over the years. Kudos to Honda for valuing us and our investment.

I bought this in the Deep Ocean Pearl EX AWD back in May shortly after they came out. I love this car!! Great review. One thing - the key fob does have a hidden key inside. The key only unlocks the door but if your fob is so low on juice out won't unlock the doors you can get in. Then just hold the fob right in front of the start button when your press it. Then new battery!

This is easily one of the best videos I've seen about the h-rv. My single owner 07 c-rv was totaled last week (I was hit at about 40 while at a dead stop) and the new c-rv just seems too big. This has less space in the trunk than my 07, but not by too much.

Very thorough review. I love the Honda Navi and Infotainment screen and interface! (People comment that a volume control knob is needed,. But the buttons on the steering wheel work so well, as does the touch screen.) Wish the air conditioning - heating ventilation panel had knobs instead of touch controls as you have to look at the panel to make adjustments. I miss the knobs of my 1997 CR-V. It was so well designed; totally tactile, never had to look down while driving. The HR-V is a great car. Got my 2016 EX-L with Navi in 2015. It's still going strong. Fun vehicle .

Lots of good details, Mike. Another detail about the Magic Seats is that the seat folds up to allow taller boxes to be loaded. Viewers would also like to know why the passengers get so much head room: the ceiling is carved out to allow a tall-back rider to sit up straight. That is a Gr8 plus for passenger comfort.

My 2014 AWD Buick Encore has the stunning Silver Cocoa Metallic exterior finish. It has got to be one of the best and most fun to drive cars I've ever owned. With 250 pounds of tools neatly stowed in the rear storage area, and with Prolong Engine Treatment in the Engine and Prolong Transmission Treatment in the Transmission - I have been averaging a Very Impressive 30.9 Miles Per Gallon! Incredible for an All Wheel Drive Vehicle! The Prolong has also made the Transmission shift so much more smoothly, and it has given the engine a very noticeable power boost that make it accelerate up to speed much faster, and also greatly improved the passing power. The handling is excellent and the car is Very Quiet - such a Pleasure to drive! I love the Blind Spot Alerts built in to both of the outside Rear View Mirrors and the Cross-Traffic Alert for the Rear Vision Camera System for backing up - an advanced Side-Scanning Radar system that warns you of traffic that's coming at you before it comes into the view of the Rear Vision Camera image. The warning comes in the form of a Blinking and Beeping Red Triangle that appears on the side of the video display from where the traffic is coming at you. Though this Cross Traffic Alert feature was formerly introduced on the 2015 models - I was so excited to find that it was included on the end of the 2014 model year vehicle, which I got a great deal on as a brand new vehicle in my dealer's show room. The turning radius is incredible and the overall driving experience is WOW ! - Remarkable! Do I sound excited ? You Bet I Am - about my 2014 AWD Buick Encore!

This is a great car except: There is very little interior pocket space for such things as pens, sunglasses, do dads and cup holders are limited. In Los Angeles we have a lot of freeways. This equates to a rapid entry to traffic. I found that my HRV has poor ramp acceleration and I must use the paddles. However, the good thing for me is... I ride a 56cm and can get my road bike into the car without removing the front wheel by laying it down. But, with the front wheel off I can't put the bike in vertically do to the high seat position. In my perfect world the interior room vertically needs to be higher by maybe 2". Other than this personally need the car is superior in many ways, but not all to the Juke, my other choice of purchase. (I thought the Nissan Juke handling was more sporty, fun and exciting, but gas mileage was not as good. As for the interior space, the Juke has far less.) Since cycling is a big part of my life I literally took my bike to all the dealerships and tried it in the cars.

Hey Mike, where you able to test drive? If so, do you feel the engine had enough power?
I was surprised when i heard the HRV has the same gas mileage as the CRV. I would think that, since HRV is smaller, it would at least some advantage over CRV's mpg.
