They are another level...The riders normally always go long at some point in the race, they also do not hurry in a perfect way in other larger categories, the riders can attack the curbs much more, there the rubbing and breaking of the spindle or whatever they are hyper delicate those cars also that on carpet the grip is beastly

Being an RC Car racer myself I can tell you it has a lot to do with rythm. It's not so much that you react to every corner you have a certain rythm that you vary according to the situation. That being said driving like this requires years of daily training.

@@EinBick Most definitely, f1 is about reaction time, I think high speed rc is about being incredibly consistent and accurate, you really have to feel the car rather than react.

My new favorite driver is Akio. So bloody fast, and he is a good guy on AND off the track. I'm 11, and I have a 3.5 in my Mod 1/12th, same motor these guys are running, and I'm on Team Associated. I honestly don't want to be as good as these guys though. If I ever get this good, then I likely won't be an engineer.

Not 13.5t, 3.5t
@VestedUTuber2 жыл бұрын
@@calebworland967 Yes, but there is a class for 13.5t, as well as 17.5t. Also, in mod class (which is the class ruleset this particular race uses) you don't always want to run the fastest, lowest turn motor. Sometimes it pays off to run a little less motor for better consistency, and 4.5T and even 5.5T motors are common in this class. I've even heard of people running 10.5Ts in mod at club-level races and doing well due to the more forgiving amount of power.

@@VestedUTuber Exactly there are tracks that are not worth running with large engines and obviously on carpet it is impossible because of how small the tracks are, even if the ones in the video run on modified but they are a separate case... I have been lucky enough to run with people who It has gone to world races and literally they will be about to double me with a limited 5.5 and they in stock(13.5)although I had never ridden on that track and they for many years it seems tremendous to me that with those engines they are so good

Not that much, they have just crazy gearing, about 50t pinion and 72 spur, that's where the speed comes from. Idk the kV, but the turns rate is from 17.5 to 6.5. The faster motors don't have a gearing that fast, more about 40t pinion and 80t spur

What is the name of this type of car and where can I get one ?
@tehpunisher45685 жыл бұрын
They are 1/12 scale pan cars. They usually come as kits so you need to build them from the ground up. Buy the chassis and get your own electronics. They should only be used in a competitive setting because of their low ground clearance. Plus they can get expensive. The chassis starts around $200 and get more expensive. Then you need a battery, motor, esc, receiver and transmitter. Usually these setups for a decent one hits about 700 to 1k

@@NBC_NCO oof lol. Me personally would prefer a touring car with an entry level brushless system. I had one and that sucker zoomed on 2s lipos. at least 60 mph. There is one I recently saw that's basically a bashing onroad car. It's rather pricey but since its beefier I would say better for casual use
@VestedUTuber4 жыл бұрын
In regards to the specific individual cars, there's a couple different modes in this particular class. If you want to get into 1/12th scale pan cars specifically the brands you'll want to look at are Serpent, XRAY, CRC, Yokomo and Schumacher. Associated used to also make one, but that brand has since refocused more towards off-road and entry-level stuff and there's really not room for a high-end racing machine in what's already a relatively niche class in their current lineup.
