i think it's clear mini has stepped up their interior game, extending from the 'more luxurious' interior of the latest clubman, which may justify the price by at least some measure

I had a 1970 VW convertible with the folded down top obstructing the rear vision. VW designed the rear view mirror so that it it could be twisted on it's mounting arm 180 degrees thus gaining a couple inches of elevation. The mirror in this higher configuration did improve the rearward visibility. An easy solution towards mitigating the problem.

Umm... The new Cooper S has a 2.0L Turbo, not a 1.6L! It's right on their website, why didn't you fact check? The standard Cooper has a 1.5L Turbo 3-cyl. Only the Countryman still has the old 1.6L...

This car isn't a 1.6L. They switched to a 2.0L turbo with this generation. And you guys do this stuff for a living; how embarrassing is that?

Mini is a sport compact car... Mini minor and mini Morris was designed as a Sport Rally CAR... And the BMW Mini is the SAMe....
