2016 Mustang Keyless Features

This video is to show the cool keyless features and remote/key fob on the 2016 Mustang.
***NOTE: Single press works as well. There is no need to do double lock press.
Used my Samsung Galaxy S8 to record video/audio.

To start the car, all you have to do is press lock and the "2x" button twice! Also, to start the car just press unlock once then hold it down the 2nd time. Much easier :)

This is an old video.... I have done many changes since then. I went back to chrome horse on the rear and on the front I went with Cervinis upper/lower grill + a new badge (GT350 like, but with a turbo logo and it says "EcoBoost"). Additionally, I got the GT350 replica wheels and many other things. Check out my other recent videos to get a sneek peak. I have yet to load the Cervinis upper/lower grill + a new badge look.

I’ve watch like 100 mustang videos since I got mine in Oct and for sum reason every body is amazed by the trunk button and the touch to lock/proximity sensor on the door handle when this existed years ago My 2002 e46 has the button to open the trunk...my 2010 e92 had the keyless entry aka “comfort access” and door lock features which they had in 2007 You don’t have to click the lock button twice lol....click lock once then click the 2x button twice for remote start Also to shut it off u don’t click the 2x button twice it only requires 1 click For the windows to go down u click u lock once release then hold it

Thank you for this vid, I rented a 2019 mustang CV .and had no clue about the keyless options. Question, I lock my car, but all I need to do to unlock and open the car door is press the door handle. What would stop anyone from just coming by and opening my car door?

The proximity handle is linked to the key fob. So to open the door the key must be with you.

Hey dude i have an 2019.5 Mustang GT 6 sp prem/PP1 but someone took the manual out of it before i brought it, but i want to know did you try to start the 19 with the key fob this way as if you notice the 18-19 key fob is slightly different, and it has an small black button if you look real close up in the upper left corner of the key fob what is that one for? also it has a small round hole and or light below the unlock button and i was wondering was it an voice activated key fob?

@@BoostedWhipz i have an 2019.5 Mustang GT 5.0 prem/PP1 6 sp man. but the key fob is slighty different as there is an little black button in the top left corner of the key fob and at the bottom there is a little round hole like an speaker hole /light below the unlock button on the fob also im thinking voice activated, not sure but my main question is will this feature work on the manuals also?, as i don't have an owners manual is was taken out at the dealership unknownst as who done it.

Where is the best place to get good batteries for that key fob? Got some from the ford dealer and after a month or so they are kinds weak

Hi, So I got a 2017 Mustang Ecoboost Performance Package and I got two 4 button keys with the car. I ordered a 5 button key from USA which has the key start (which I think is cool) and tried programming it. Having the key inside the car I could start it, but from outside none of the buttons or the key start is not working. Is this possible? Should I take it to Ford itself to get it done?

Add an aftermarket window module and you will be able to roll your windows UP with the Key FOB.

The taillights are still from factory. The effect you see on camera is just done by the camera.

If your check engine light is on remote start will not work. At least this is what I've read. Also the car must be locked. I have a 2016.

Matjaž Bogadi you can't. You would need an aftermarket window module and then get it programmed to the fob.
