I was really disappointed when I saw the interior was straight out o a 9-year-old honda, and now even more so that I know they weren't allowed to change the suspension and steering, so much potential wasted. Plus now that the Satria Neo is no longer sold, Proton doesn't really have a sports car.

i think it's a great car... i don't know why some people hate the design... at least it's better than Almera's design~ and i really don't mind having a honda engine inside... some cars even used subaru's boxer engine... so, no surprise.. however, this car will have a little bit of identity crisis.. lol

Mainly why everyone bashing this car is because of the price. You're basicllly getting an old Accord with different body panels which is nice and I do like the design. But the 2.4 costs RM130k. The new 1.5 Turbo Civic costs the same and also all the similar D segment cars like the new Accord, Teana, Mazda 6 are all within the Perdana price range. Basiclly, you're getting an old Accord.

At just 110K+ RM, this is most value and bang for the buck car in the D-Segment. The next cheapest car is Nissan Teana but it cost at 137K RM. (more than 20K more) I've no regrets with Perdana. Worth the money you are paying.

Proton engineer was not allowed to change, tune its powerplant. So, blame Honda meh. Even suspension was the same from Honda. Only if neo1/TGDi finished, maybe proton put some or major changes.. Install lotus handling. For now, proton can't do anything. Since Honda proton agreement can't give opportunity to proton put its DNA on this perdana

Campro was their own work. And as mentioned above. The tgdi and petronas engine are in development. On the driver side, yes. This pronda is not that fun to drive compared to the original proton, however the passenger feels more comfortable because of the sound suspressor, and steady cruise. Because on the passenger side of normal proton, we can feel the car movement more compared to the driver. Cruising on highways up to 120km/h and we can feel the loud and fast motion on the normal ones. Pronda is aiming for the bussiness people and transport category i guess

Treat it like a Honda Accord with much better looks. And let's be honest it looks good, and priced cheaper, more spacious too. So to be honest i would buy one in a heartbeat.
