I just bought 2012 r1 3k mi.

Just picked one up and rode 500 miles getting 40 mpgs averaging 75 mph. Love it.

Bike goes 170mph stock due to lower redline. Bumping rpms to 12400 from 12200 will raise it to 177mph. Glad you like the bike though is phenomenal especially for the price.

It is a crossplane. Not a big bang engine, those two are different.

What’s the fastest you’ve taken the bike now with mods?

I have not yet had a chance to test the speed with mods. At a closed course event I got the stock bike up to 160 no problem.
