2017 Acura NSX Full Effort Launch Control

That was not a launch control. He just floored it. The rev's never came up.

+To The Floor! The rev's coming up are what made me get the camera out and start filming, so that part isn't on the video. The car was just idling as I sat there and oogled it. All of a sudden the revs increased probably by double, lets say from 1000 rpm to 2000 rpm or so, and they held perfectly steady, not by foot but by computer. That is when I got video rolling because I knew something was coming. Now maybe it has varying levels or modes of launch intensity - don't know - but I know the revs came up and held perfectly steady at least double of what idle was. If you watch other 2017 NSX videos, there is a female Honda engineer that has trouble getting the launch control engaged. But when she does finally get it engaged, it sounds exactly like this. Keep in mind this car has 3 electric motors and they definitely help get the car off the line...

+Jason Fagan i think the rev isnt as high as other car for launch control. since it have electric power assist it required less input from the engine. this is honda engineering. they rather make the car reliable than just brute force.

It is a standing start without launch control. NSX is pretty instant off the line, virtually Tesla like.
