2017 AUDI S3 | TEST DRIVE | LAUNCH CONTROL!!

Shout out to Poole Audi for letting me test drive and film the amazing Audi S3.
Never drove an Audi S3 before and I'm glad I have now, what an amazing car and a car that is now potentially on the list to buy.
I'm yet to test the Focus RS but that is on the list and will be done soon so stay tuned.

Do you find the MPG the sales exec was saying to be bull as well, i haven't ever got any higher then 27mpg haha. you never get bored of the launch though

I cant get any higher then bloody 26 mpg at the moment, im driving in efficiency but am only doing 7 miles there and 7 back to and from work but yeah when hooning on country roads im getting between 14-18 mpg

Coasting basically means free wheeling, it's doesn't maintain the speed. It's just economy mode being economic

This is a car I keep meaning to drive. Think il investigate as well! It was Interesting to see that he let you setup a camera outside and film launch control using two cameras too. Il have to do my dealer videos during a week day as I noticed the stealership you went to was very quiet. When I do these type of vids it's very busy with people buying. I'm surprised this car didn't want to make you buy it on the spot seeing as you never experienced launch control before mate! Did he let you experience Quattro properly on the B roads as well?

Test drive the Audi S1? Its such a better driving experience then the S3, your much more involved cause of the manual gearbox.

Yeah the space is the only disadvantage. But I don´t really need that space anyways. So its a perfect car for me. I wanted to add by the way that with a easy remap you can bring the engine of the S1 to S3 horsepower levels. Thats of course because the S1 has the exact same engine as the S3. Just a little FYI. :)

JT Wills Then you need to drive one for yourself! I’ve an rs3, and listened to all the bs about understeer etc got to say (from someone who likes oversteer) I struggled to make it understeer on the road. Might be different on track, but the majority will be used on the road. Economy is a bit poor with spirited driving, but that launch control makes it all worthwhile! Love the S3, and a great alternative to the Golf R which a great car!! Hope your happy with the S3.
