This is my mom's 2017 BMW 740i. It has been a very good car for us other than the unexpected expensive maintenance bill. Hopefully we have many more reliable miles!

Those things are self DIY for me. Tire ramps, an oil kit from amazon or local store tools specific to that car, High quality oil from walmart (same oil or better than dealer unless u go liqui molly) and am good to go. Practice safety too. Those filters can be bought cheap too. That job should be $100 give or take. The dealers destroy people's wallets even if its a chevy dealer. Euro car dealers are the worst.

So, you own the flagship sedan from BMW and if you worry about a $500 service cost? Buy a Mazda if you can't afford the upkeep of a luxury vehicle. Like seeing a Lambo owner complaining of the fuel cost after buying a V12.

It was my moms. Cabin air filters and an oil change should not cost $500. We would have done it ourselves if we knew it was going to be that expensive.

These cars depreciate quick. I say just keep driving it unless it gets super expensive to fix.

You pay way to much for your oil change and filers double
