Nathan, this Video and your presentation was so helpful! I am a female rider of 2 years and just purchased the 2017 S1000R two days ago. The salesman showed me "the ropes", but I was so nervous and excited to test ride it, I didn't process all he told and showed me. Your Vid showed me so much more and I thank you. Nathan Jennings May I ask you a question? I ordered ASV C5 Brake and Clutch levers for my 17 BMW S1000R. I just read they may not work with the cruise control and quick shifter. Would you know if this is true? The Stock clutch is difficult to reach and pull ( and not very attractive). Thanks for your input.

I would have to talk to my service dept and see if they've had any issues in the past but I have seen those levers cause problems on Triumph Speed Triples. It sounds like the tab that contacts the clutch safety switch isn't making complete contact which is common with after-market levers so watch out!! Cheers, ~Nate

But I get a few customers who allow me to go in depth with them on video so they can have it for future reference and allow me to share with the rest of the world that doesn't have that option at their dealer!! Nathan is your man if you're looking for BMW R 1200 GSA. Here is the story: I've been in the market to buy 2017 1200 GSA triple black. I live in Houston, TX. I did find a good deal but was torn apart between standard or low suspension as I'm 5'9. Long story short I did put my down payment for the low suspension last week 6/15/2017 at a local dealer in Houston, TX. My sale person or the dealer could not help me with technical details on the low suspension. For the past 2 days it was a nightmare and sleepless night as this is my 1 time shot to get this dream bike. I stumble upon Nathan's video and was amazed how he treated his customers and explained about the bike in detail. 5 star out of 5. I was so impressed I just called his store this morning at 9 am CST and left my number to call me. Indeed he did call me in 2 hour and I told him the whole story of my shopping. He took his time and gave some tips to go back my to my dealer and try both standard and low. Guess what Nathan was spot on and I did end up zero down on standard GSA. By the way I'm 5'9 inch. Standard GSA with standard seat and low position. I can put my feet down flat foot with my Niki Air running shoes. Moral of this story is Nathan did know that I already bought my bike in Houston, TX. He is not getting my business as I already have the bike but he did not careless he took time and helped me to decide and gave the best advise. I wish all sales person can be like Nathan. He is a perfect example. Nathan if you're ever in Houston dinner and drinks on me mate. I promised Nathan near future will buy a side car and that business will go to Nathan.

Personally I like the Grey model as it is my favorite color and it makes the machine look really mean and indestructible!!! Plus with the Black seat cowl it really pops... It's a new color so it won't blend in with previous models as well. Thanks for watching and valuing my opinion. Cheers, ~Nate

hi, what is the difference between the older abs and the abs pro?

Elie: Great question!!! The ABS PRO takes into account your lean angle so the ABS will be just as effective in a corner as it is straight up and down. Current ABS allows for proper functionality upright only not taking into consideration the circumference change in the tires size and the change in the contact patch size while at lean. When you lean your motorcycle over the tire circumference continues to shrink which has a direct impact on what the speed sensor is picking up. Cool trick for a bike with a front wheels speedo pick up sensor. Record your speedo while riding and when you are in a corner and getting the bike erect watch the speed change dramatically. I probably have some video of that I could share with you on my old SV650S race bike. Fish through my KZbin channel and check it out. ~Nate

I personally like the 'ol 2010 Tuono Twin Cylinder over the V4 models and haven't had any experience on the 1100 models. The new V4 is fast but comparing stock to stock models the R has a lot more user friendly factors to it. Smoother bottom end and easier to utilize electronics. I did just trade in another '12 Tuono V4 R APRC and will hopefully get to take this one to the track and experience there as I haven't yet...only in passing hehe ~Nate
