My thoughts on the 2017 BMW X3 35i Xdrive with the 3.0L twin turbo inline six engine and eight speed automatic transmission!

F25 (2011+) x3 comes with the Twin POWER turbo i6. This is the n55 engine which is a Twin scroll single turbo, not a Twin Turbo. The Twin Turbo i6 engine was the n54, which ran from 2006-2010

N55 is not twin turbo. It is a single turbo with a twin scroll turbo.

Do I need the Technology Package to have the Apple carplay or it comes standard with any version of this vehicle?

the funny thing is...the 2018 X3 back end looks uglier compared to this...then again, only my opinion.

Have you driven an n55 e92 coupe? How would you rate it vs this x3 35i n55? Realistically

I have, and it all depends on what you want. The x3 is way more practical than the e92, but the e92 feels quicker and more sporty

The cool part is you can tune these engines (reliable) to 500hp!

It’s not an M, but it has, I believe, the same motor, and the same turbos. With the M package, there is not much difference!
