JuugMoney No, they won't. Look at it this way, the new 2016 Audi S5 is offered in a manual. And many many sports sedan also come in Manual. You'd expect something as luxurious as Audi would only be offered in automatic with manual shifting capabilities. Also BMW M3 as far as I know is also offered in Manual. Many 2016 cars are offered in manual at the base models dude. So cars like corvette for instance, will never remove manual transmissions.

Saw this car in person yesterday. Was picking up a new gas cap for my 2004 Silverado in the parts dept and I walked right past it on the showroom floor and man does it look so aggressive

C7 is the only American car I would consider. What you get for your money is really amazing. Yes, you can get used 911 Turbo which I have driven and you might be faster.., but this Vette is more entertaining on a daily basis.

Since the engine is the same in this and the camaro ss, I guess the difference in sound is due to the exhaust system.

You know what kid? You, being no older than 24-26, present yourself so well. Additionally, educating yourself on the voluminous amounts of data, facts and history of various cars... you make OUTSTANDING car reviews. Also, your ability to speak, convey your thoughts and opinions without resorting to, "aaah", "uuum", "you know", "it's like" etc.... is so refreshing. I'm in the market for a F-type and have seen nearly every review on youtube. Many reviewers jump into the car on the dealer lot and explore the vehicle for the first time themselves and purport to know what they are talking about. They don't even drive the stupid thing to validate their opinions of the vehicle. You on the other hand, do superbly well and are well on your way to a splendid future in whatever you choose to do simply because you educate yourself on the subject matter and can speak well.........................................unlike most of my stupid fellow 'Mericans. The one thing that really bugs me about the C7 is the manual still has paddles on the wheel. Personally, I would buy a C6 Z06 to get the legendary LS7.

Those paddles are just for the rev matching system though. But I agree they look kind of odd next to a stick.

K.C.'s RC Huh? The paddles on the manual cars don't let you shift gears. They are to activate the auto rev match feature, and that's it. Chevy did this so they didn't have to manufacture a different steering wheel depending on the transmission used.

You mean the grand sport hash marks? It is the identifier that it is a GS corvette.. It stems from racing corvettes in the 60's using it as a secondary identifier for the cars pit crews to be able to identify which car was coming in or while on a crowded track where its door numbers would get blocked... Remember this was before the days of electronic communication.

The Grand Sport has the same power-plant as the standard Stingray. @17:01 he says the GS gets 16/25 mpg. Why does the GS get less fuel economy? Is it the increased tire size (would add resistance)?

StriderCX The GS is the same width and length as the Z06, which is larger than the Stingray.

I am a corvette lover and have owned them as well but this Grandsport is exactly like the C6 as far as just a Zo6 look. I think the Grand sport should come with at least 485-505 horsepower especially for the money you are packing for it. So basically the next grandsport is a stingray with zo6 fenders ...smh sometime GM can be so boring when it comes to this stuff.

I'd rather has the GS than the Z06. The latter seems to have too much engine for the chassis. And the heat soak issue with the supercharged engine still hasn't been resolved.

Surprisingly, I haven't found any difficulty with it. 7th is so far to the right I don't imagine anyone would have that problem much.
