The 2017 Chevrolet Cruze is now offered as a hatchback in the U.S. Globally, this is the bow-tie brand’s best-selling nameplate, with some 3.5 million having been delivered since it debuted in 2008. Clearly, the Cruze has strong international appeal, but will this five-door format be embraced by ‘Murican drivers or rejected like foreign propaganda?

I LOOOOOOVE MINE!! Not only do I own one but I drive another for work leading me to disagree with the "uncomfortable seats" given that I drive one 8-10 hours a day 5 days a week and am comfortable with no issues . Thumbs up all the way!

wow, class leading size, more soft touch points than in the completely plastic and lowest rated reliability focus, more features than what you find in the corolla, and over all better connectivity than most of its competitors. looks good! not sure if it would be enough to make me choose this over a Mazda 3 though.

i have a mazda 3 2017 and love it performance is crazy on the Highway with a lot of wind doesn't even move and the lights are so strong people think I have my high beams on and four wheel independent suspension is great an g- vectoring Works seamlessly

I have a Vauxhall Astra K SRI here in the UK. This Cruze is almost identical but of a much better spec it seems.

sitting outside in red hot color and love it. *It is smooth and fuel economy is good. seats could be better.

i love the cruze i got a courtesy from my local dealer while my volt was under warranty repair and the cruze has a smooth ride and the tech on a base model is amazing and the engine is pretty preppy for it being a 1.4L and comparing to chryslers 2.4L with a 9 speed the cruze was wayyyy better and smoother chryslers 4 bangers are aweful !

It's a GM so many (not all) won't pay MSRP but the resale will tank much harder when compared to a Civic Hatch, Impreza, Golf.

I didn't want to go American but this car has everything I need in a car and for a stupid good price. I need a car with the lightest steering humanly possible. And for years I thought I could only get that in hydraulic assist steering. I'm sick of this driving excitement crap, I just need a hyper comfortable car that can get me to my destination and can pass people on the freeway; not drag racing, just enough to pass people on the freeway safely

Bought one with 5k miles on it in February. Apple car play quit working because the usb won’t charge any iPhones, but will charge a Samsung for whatever reason. I tried other cables and I have another USB port in the car that charges iPhones, but can’t use apple CarPlay with that one. Once I was at a stop light and I took my foot off the brake to accelerate and the whole car shut off. I had to put the car in park, cut the ignition, start the car again, and put it in drive to move again. I like the way it drives but I’m afraid I may have bought a lemon.

Nice car but at the prices stated, has no chance to compete against Ford, Toyota, Nissan and Honda. Cruz used to be a top choice in its class. Hint to Chevy: Bring over some more Opels and stick the little bowtie on them.

Wait for diesel and you will be able to by way more tacos. Here 1.6 cdti are doing close to 50 mpg with 75 mph, cruising at 2k rpm. Unless they manage to screw it somehow or charge way to much.

I got as high as 45mpg out of mine going 70mi/hr on cruise. Hope it stays that way though.
