For 102k you might as well buy a zo6. I can live without the carbon ceramic breaks and zo7 areo package. I thought the idea behind the grand sport was to offer all the performance goodies at a substantially lower price. Now I understand that it starts at 5k over a normal stingray, but by the time you option it a little bit your already into zo6 money.

no, one of them cools the differential and the other cools the transmission the engine intakes are at the front

You saw that too??? I'm pretty sure this guy is as dumb as a dump truck! A 3LT Grand Sport Corvette with a Z07 option package indeed comes with the 650hp/650ft.lbs. torque supercharged aluminum engine that is entirely different than any other 6.2L engine in GM's line-up. This option by far makes this one of the most valuable Corvettes available. You don't get a Z07 without a supercharger...I agree with you!

+Robert Robinson that's false bud. I showed the window sticker toward the beginning of the video. Watch at 1:02 clearly says Z07 Performance Package $7995. Go on to Chevrolet.com and go onto the Corvette Grand Sport build and price section. There will be a menu next to the Z07 Performance pkg that tells you what's included in the package. Get your facts straight before you start running your mouth!

For those complaining about the price, and please correct me if I'm wrong here: the 3LT is essentially the luxury trim of the Corvette, which is not offered on the Z06 because the Z06 is all about performance and this package with so many options and full leather and all that adds weight to the car and therefore detracts from it's intended purpose. This is a cruiser with track features and suspension moreso than the absolute track monster the Z06 is ... It's all preference people

the problems are very real... After readind MotorTrend November issue's article by Christian Seabaugh (long term test) , I was astonished by what was wrong with the car..... Great engine.. PERIOD... the rest, rattles and My link/instrument cluster screen ( they had to be replaced) cabin noise, ect...... not for my buck !!!

Funny....Trace Hance of MT absolutely loved the car. So have many other reviews. Go the forums....the issues are not as "real" as you think. Many owners extremely satisfied...with few or no issues. Rattles and cabin noise? What do you expect? It's an extremely high performance, track-oriented sports car. No car in it's class (and price range) isn't without these nuances....exception being a 150k Porsche 911 Carrera S. And those have their issues as well. IMO...and being a previous C6 owner....I would not base the merits of this car on its infotainment display and some minute rattles. The car is backed by, what is likely, the best warranty available for a high performance sports car. Therefore, beat it into submission if you please.

Awe, Brian. Some of us have really bad backs. Others have really bad knees. Are you saying we shouldn't drive 'Vettes? That's why the automatics! There was certainly a time when I would have agreed with you, but in manual mode, those 8 speed auto's are definitely worth their salt! Take one out and you'll see what I mean. Just make sure it's a Z06!

Im saving for a Red on Red 3LT GS Manual. I drive by this dealership on the way to work daily. Nice to see some reviews done locally. Unfortunately their inventory seems limited with only 3/4 c7 on the lot. I don't think they'll be able to match the prices of dealerships a few hours drive away.

+1 hahaha! I listed the full options list towards the end of the video. But this one had a lot of custom accessories (yellow stitching, yellow brake calipers, yellow shift paddles etc.) very unique car and it's still for sale if you'd like to check it out!
