Your Stock tires will be gone in 2000 miles. I’d recommend putting street tires on it. They handle way better less vibration and drag. And if I try can manage 90 mpg.

My dad got his 250L earlier this year and he absolutely loves it. However I will say the tires aren't "knobby" enough, they're the same tires on my 450L

I totally agree - This is why the previous owner of my bike put on kenda trackmasters, definitely very knobby (but still street legal).

If you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for it? I'm looking at a 2015 with 1600 miles and the guy is asking $4000. Seems a little steep to me.

I did a little negotiating with the seller who was looking to upgrade, and spent $3,500 (cash) for the bike which is a '17 and it had just over 200 miles - but many / most of those miles were offroad, and so it had a good number of dents, scratches, and dings - and a few things needed repair / replacement, but it also had some good aftermarket stuff on it as well (hand guards, radiator guard, upgraded battery, spare set of tires, etc.). Note that in '17 there was a bit of a refresh. I think I got a very good deal, and according to a spreadsheet I have running, including registration / tax / new parts / insurance / etc. my grand total is about $4,700. $4k seems a little high, but these things really hold their value, and at the end of the day it's a honda that is going to last forever. If you think you are going to keep it for 10 years, then per year the difference between say $3k and $4k is only $100 / year...

@@GuyQ84 Thanks for the info! Im going to have a look in person tomorrow. Pretty sure this one is stock other than the Yoshi pipe. Its got street / supermoto tires setup right now but they're super narrow. I might opt for something a little beefier.

@@thor5244 nice! Did that also include registration / tax / etc? Killer deal either way

You might need to beef up the suspension a bit but otherwise I think you'd be fine

I have it and I’m 6,2 and 230 pounds and I felt like the bike didn’t have enough juice to do what I wAnted, there’s a reason they call it a pig. But with 300 bucks in mods that was fixed and a lot better

I'm 6'1" about 190 lbs, the seat on this one is shaved down from previous owner, I think with new seat I'll be just fine. As is, I'm a little cramped but it's because I keep sliding down to the bottom when I'm sitting. Standing feels perfect.

No more than any other bike. I also weigh almost 200 lbs though so that helps to keep it down :)

Are they the stock tires? They sound so loud lol. I have MT21's on my 250L, they're great off road, I don't have any on road miles on them yet though.
@GuyQ84

No, these are Kenda Trackmaster II's I believe. Definitely not stock, and as far as I know they are the most aggressive DOT compliant tires you can get.
