2017 Dodge Durango battery change

Have replaced the battery on two Durangos and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. You do not have to take the seat bolts out or do anything with the seat other than slide it all the way forward. The auxiliary stop start battery should be removed first if equipped and the other battery will simply slide right out as they share a mounting bracket. It's heavy but can be slid out without touching the seat. You will require a 10 mil and a 13 mil socket with an extension.

Just for anyone who's wondering it is possible to do it with the seat out I work on cop cars just make sure the seat is all the way forward and nothing is connected

All you had to do was slide the seat all the way forward and you could’ve accessed it easily

Some folks that may be the case, but I am 6 ft 290 and I don’t fit into small spaces well. It’s what worked best for me. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
