You stated an addictional camera can be mounted to the trailer? Would it be wireless and would i need to go to a ford dealership to get it?

it is an option which you can order when purchasing the truck and it is not wireless. it is the tpms and trailer camera option which comes in a box.

hey thanks! at 60mph its at about 1900rpm and at 70mph its at 2100rpm. its a step above the old ones in terms of features and creature comforts for sure and if you have the means to i highly recommend a test drive.

lol. I found that to be the case in all american cars. sure they have upped their game in the last few years with the materials used on the interiors which makes for a luxurious car but they still have a hard time with cheap plastics. this still seems to be the most luxurious truck out there and this is the best youre gonna get so if its a big deal for you then go for a eauropean car.

carguy 46 honestly I think fords fit and finish is the best of the big 3 my 2012 Silverado is a real rattle trap already. Next year I'll buy a 2018 superduty. I'll never own a car so until Europe starts making 1 ton pickups I guess I'm stuck with my American junk 😂

i dont see how it could brake unless you are involved in a high speed frontal collision. in that case insurance will cover it. besides if you can afford a +100k truck you wont worry about insignificant things like that. you will simply enjoy it for what it is.

I have a '17 F450. If I am not mistaken, the F350 actually has a higher payload than the F450.

i believe this 450 has a max payload of 5,320 lbs and some 350 models have a max payload of 6,950 lbs. in some cases yes the 350 does have a higher maximum payload.

I pull a 38 foot gooseneck with a tongue weight of well over 3000 pounds unloaded and with 100 gallons of race fuel in the bed. I think I am not far from maximum payload with the trailer loaded. Something to think about.

Payload is listed on the sticker inside the drivers door. I doubt a KR 450 has 5300lbs of payload. My 2018 450 Limited has 4950lbs and yours seems to have the same level of options.

As shown in the video you are also able to open it using the handle. However, it is very convenient to have other options available. These trucks have heavy tailgates and it can be difficult to open at times esp when you are carrying things.

was given the opportunity to drive an 2017 F 350 for two days in lieu of trading in my 2016 Platinum. The 2017 at first seemed perfect a but once dealer allowed me to drive it for two days here's what I experienced. Truck didn't ride as expected in comparison to my 2016 F 350. The 2016 was more comfortable and seemed to ride quieter. The 2017 had some door vibrations/ rattles every time I bit bumps. The mirrors seem to shake a little to much .The paint job had lots of orange peel. The moon roof would bind or get stuck when opening it. The instrument guages seem nicer on the 2016. Although 2017 did have a few nice things my 2016 doesn't have such as the led lighting in the box. The third brake light mounted camera. The lights in the mirrors that light up the ground when door is open. But after the two days, I couldn't trade in my 2016 Platinum for the 2017. I was little disappointed with the 2017 as I had higher expectations for it. I'll wait a few years .maybe FORD will correct or improve the issues on the truck

sorry to hear about your experience with the new 350. i put over 13,000kms on this particular truck and have had no such issues. i find the build quality and attention to detail to be one of the strong suits of this truck. maybe it was a one off defective model in your case because its hard to believe that these issues would occur on these trucks.
