Great to see such passion in a man of 82. I'm inspired. And he offers 3 or 4 very valid and valuable swing tips. Bragging? Fine. He's saying: This (all these victories) is how well this worked for me. Try it and maybe it will work for you. The determination, the fitness, the technique. They all add up. Thank you, Gary.

Coming off the back of a few good rounds recently. Yesterday I was having an absolute nightmare. I remembered this video, concentrated on left arm across the chest and getting a good turn back, then a good turn through and my ball striking improved almost instantly. Can't wait to get to the range to work on it some more

This is the easiest explanation of golf ever! I have been struggling moving from low single digit to near 10 index trying everything paid $1000,s in lessons purchased three sets of clubs this year and no consistent game I Shot a 68 then followed up the next day with an 87 . I watched this video the Friday before my weekend tournament Shot two over for the tournament and missed only one fairway (first cut) played again a few days later skipped range and shot 3 over from tips (153 sloop 12 on stimp) on a quick round after work! Never been easier arm tight against body tension in back leg club straight back hands slightly inside and release my hips with full force! I always had fast hips and good rotation but I have never been able to garner a strategy to stay connected so easily all the time, The way mr. player explains the swing made driving and irons so easy thank god for Gary Player this video made golf fun for me again! I really feel like I can be consistent again! Even his putting tip helped me! I have no delusions of grandeur I am just a competitive weekend club player however this video is legit and has really made the game enjoyable again! I can’t wait to get back on the course or range.

Hello golfing friends, For what’s it worth........ So your score fluctuates by about 10 (78 to 88). We often see pros in PGA and LPGA to the same or worse. I don’t see it as a big deal but I one concern for you. Golf is so much mental game. I always play better when my wife wishes me a good game. ( She gets to keep any money I win 😉😉). Are you worrying to much about your bad score, hence, putting unnecessary pressure on your self??? Listen to the PGA tour player interviews. 99.9% they keep it positive, even on the worst day. Try to focus on all your positives and good scores before each game. You know you can shoot a good score. Believe in yourself. If you don’t, know one help you. After the round is the time to think about a bad score. But not before. You can go to the driving range or play 9 holes to fix the issues. Try working on reducing your bad score one stroke at a time; 88 to 87, 86, 85, 84, etc. One stroke at time. Good Luck to All. Q

great tip at around the 12:30 mark, for the last two years ive been fixated by the club outside the hands method on the backswing i havent turned my shoulders properly for those two years , for the last 3 days ive stopped thinking about it and concentrated on keeping that left arm in contact with the shoulder on back swing i now got a fuller turn its on plane and striking the ball better

Gary Player is the perfect sergeant major: he's fit, smart, and competent, but he's really tough on recruits. Here are a couple of swing thoughts that should help anyone: 1) use your shoulders, arms, ,and hands as a unit to move the club back and through, 2) you must turn your hips and shoulders so that your weight ends up on the heel of your right foot and in your right glute, 3) you must brush your left pec with your left triceps on the backswing, and you must bump and push your right pec on the downswing, 4) your hands are opposite the middle of your left thigh when your club head meets the ball, & 5) the first thing you must do on the downswing is to get your weight onto your left foot: so, you can pivot around your left leg. That's boilerplate, and no one needs to make an "E1-recruit" out of you to teach it to you.

I am 68 years young still playing every day (weather permitting) And I know exactly what Gary is getting at in what one thinks while standing over the ball on each shot! We all have done it in thinking where our hands/legs/hips should be, resulting in our up's and down's in our game, it can drive one in sane for sure! We all know how well we can all hit the ball, but never consistently That's when all the questions come into our heads and we end up changing this and that! Maybe I should take up chests? But getting back to Garry - what a mentor in wanting to help the youngsters of today in what he knows and what he has gone through in his life in playing this wonderful game which we love or hate - depending how you played? He is a fit fanatic and could give any a young pro a lesson or two even at his age! Many thanks for this video Gary and hope to see more! You are loved world wide for who you are and in what you do for others! God bless you!

Gary won 9 majors and 160 professional wins. Hogan won 9 majors, Tiger 15 majors (82 professional wins), Jack 18 majors (73 wins). Why is Gary not in the same conversation as the very best of the game? Same reason Trevino isn't, same reason Sea Biscuit was disrespected. Human beings suck, Gary is the man!! What an inspiration, your integrity and drive is what matters, Gary is the man! Americans suck for not understanding that!

Damn you Gary Player. I had finally gone back and settled on my right side hitter swing . Then I see this video and tried it. SMASH!!!!! That left arm back against the chest and then just turn works great and is easy to do. It makes so much sense that it would keep you on plane also. I'll try a bucket at the range and see if it wears me out at all. Only Tried it with ten shots and it seems effortless .

Thomas Fraser I took it to the range today and was hitting draws and making really good contact. I used my core to turn and it was effortless. I'm not a rotational golfer at all but this really worked. I am a right side hitter where I just basically drop and extend my right arm right from the top and get a lot of power doing it. I'm more consistent doing it my way,but I only tried his way since yesterday. Im really considering working on his way a lot more. My only problem is I just finally got my way down pat in the last few days lol. At least I found it at 51 and not 70.
