The 2 into 1 is a factory header with the cat removed and the crossover capped correct

This is why I only added slip on's (Cobra Neighbor Haters) to my 18 RGS. I researched the hell out of this and only found minimal gains for a lot of money. I did all of this on a 1300 V Star I have and did notice a throttle improvement but very, very minimal power difference, in fact maybe a 5hp and same in torque increase...all that for spending around 1500 bucks. Granted, any engine that breathes more freely will run better but is it worth the investment.

Most engine modification is not even felt. Most people don't need all of the extras they claim is a benifit. I ride my harley stock and change my oil regularly which is my power that's needed because they run just fine from the factory.

@Frank Wood i am in agreeance with you..all this extra money PEOPLE spend on these stages...i just lmfao...on a road trip not one person i Ryde with that does stage two and beyond crap can pull away from my stock 107 the highest speed we get up to 115-120 i am right there no lapse.. Right there theonly difference they spent 2k-3k for what? Hahaha

@@71donkrider well running a header instead of a factory catted exhaust makes the bike run cooler then the slip ons add sound which most people want. I have aftermarket intake because I like the look better than factory. So some people like me do it for other reasons..

I would have loved to have seen what just the a/c and slip ons would have done. The 2-1 exhaust no doubt helped in the TQ department. I’ve looked in a lot of places and you can’t seem to really find a video on what the true Harley Stage 1 will do....if anything at all. The Boneshakers and TTS are awesome, but for those of us that want to keep a warranty, they’re not an option.

Terry Sanders 2-1 I’m thinking is responsible for the up in power. If you used the tuner with the same pipes it would be easier to see what caused the most impact . Tuner or pipes, or all 3

Oh I agree 100%. I just would love to see an actual video showing some dyno numbers using Harley’s stage 1 equipment with just the add ons I mentioned. I held off of everything because I was told the M8 was head and shoulders above the TC in bone stock form, but the TC really came alive with a stage 1. Whereas the M8 is rumored to not really respond until you reach stage 2. Wondering if Stage 1 for my 2018 RG is worth it or not.

@@crank1422 I had both ones the 96ci and now the 107ci .much more power and responsiveness in the 107. I had it for a month before I did the stage 1, plus I put in the Platinum plugs. The bike is quick, but I believe the stage 2 would be much better .i just don't trust those adjustable pushrods they use. What's to prevent them from loosening up?

The throttle actually sounds slower to gain rpms than the stock adjustments.
