The Canadian and euro version is SO MUCH BETTER you get Pano roof and Auto fold mirrors. U.S version they skimp on theses as if we don't need those features. Even Hyundai and Kia put those perks on the low models cars (high trims though ex and sx)

I just bought the 2017 CRV exl AWD. I noticed that the light at the gear shifter doesn’t come on. How ever the other day it came on. What’s the cause?

The RDX really has three advantages: 1) 280 hp V6...2) LED projectors instead of reflectors...3) longer New Car and Powertrain warranties. Oh, and for us older folk, the RDX has a CD player. :-)

I own a 2016 CR-V Touring! It is a great vehicle! But I think the information display on the New 2017 blows away that which came with the 2016. And the new display appears to be far more intuitive and easy to use. That part of the car I would trade in a heartbeat. But I do get outstanding mileage and have adequate power with AWD on the 2016.

I would definitely get this thing fully loaded. Unfortunately it's missing the heated steering wheel, cooled seats and those default rims are horrible. I would pay for the standalone options of heated wheel, cooled sealed, and pano moon roof.

Can you please check when does the Blind Spot Monitor actually work on the 2017 CRVs? I test drove a CRV Touring yesterday and noticed that the Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) does not work consistently. When I had the left turn signal on to merge with the left lane, It did not work on lower speeds (it didn't light up or flash when cars were close in the other lane) or when moving slowly in traffic, like at 5 miles an hour. It only seemed to work when going over 40. Like some others, I'm not too happy about losing the Lane Watch, but if BSM is the replacement, I would like to know if it is as spotty as it seems.

Compare to the murano which is also a 5 passenger cvt that weghs about 2tons. But the murano gives you so much more: more hp for nearly the same weight. Faster 0-60. Goes further on a eank of gas. All reviewers agree it ismore cumfortable and more luxurious. Cooled seats, panoramic moonroof, bose sound system. None of which is offered on the top trim of the CRV. Not to mention the awsome surround view on a huge 8" screen. So murano takes the crown in this comparison. It does everything better especially when it comes to looks.

This is a Touring.. This one just wasn't fully loaded.. The car has a Blind Spot monitor, so there is no Lane Watch. The EX-L has different wheels as well.

I agree. It's strange that Honda was still using CASSETTE players in their 2008 models, but less than ten years later, they're already getting rid of CD players. If the target demographic for this model was teenagers, I'd say sure, lose the CD player, but the CR-V is targeted at middle-aged people like me who still use CDs. Bad move, IMO.
