Love everything about it, especially the panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel and heated front AND back seats(only in Canada, eh?). Perfect balance of power and fuel economy too. I was going to replace my aging CR-V with the upcoming CX5, but the new CRV is really making the decision hard. I like the driving dynamic in the CX5 more, but the CRV isn't nearly has *floaty boaty* as it used to be. Most of the things I still like in the 2017 CX5 are purely subjective so they aren't really better or worse, just what I like more. But the CRV has certainly made changes that I wasn't previously happy with that now are appealing. I would have liked to see a panoramic sunroof, but the CX5 doesn't have it either.

I believe it is possible; but its not going to be cheap. There are led light conversions that can be done and paired with the projector headlights you may like that as well. - Laura

How is the engine power compared with 2.4L on base model LX.

The turbo model definitely has more pep but the 2.4L is still a great engine. Its the same exact engine from the previous generation. I personally like the turbo engine more but my camera guy swears by the 2.4L . Your best bet would be to drive both and pick what which model best fits your needs. - Laura

Dodge 318 Cummins The 2017 CRV LX comes with the 2.4L with a CVT transmission.

JP 560 I'm not sure what to think about the cvt transmission as my 2011 crv has the 2.4l with the traditional trans and hasn't had a single problem with 80,000 miles on it.

I had an 08 CRV and loved it and now I have the 2016 CRV Touring and I love it the CVT works really well it has over 20,000 miles no issues at all with it or the car and the 2.4L is more refind and powerful then my 08. I also recently drove the 2017 and that one drives really nice as well.

JP 560 I'm not really interested in the 1.5l turbo engine in a crv it seems too small and stresses in such a big car. Which one have you drove?

Dodge 318 Cummins I drove the 1.5 Turbo it seemed like it didn't stress it was very smooth and it felt quicker then my 16. I also drove LX to compare and it also drove nice I think it just depends on your preference.

You forgot to mention the CRV is the best selling vehicle in USA , after pickup trucks.... also has highest resale value. The display looks very nice, prolly the best in its class and Honda interiors feel so much more comfortable than Toyota these days. They've done a great job
