Out of interest what air pressure did you decide on for your front forks?

Great video, I think you nailed it. I have the same bike and many of the same additions. 53 hours and counting. LOVE it. That being said it's the first bike where I haven't felt the need for a rekluse and since it lugs so well and I think it's making me a better rider. It's also the first bike where I haven't used a steering stabilizer since it's so planted. It wouldn't hurt in the desert but I am leaving it on the 350 xcf. JD kit is a must. It's my first 2 stoke and it's a dream albeit an expense one. I don't race and only trail and woods ride. Curious when you think it might be time to think about pistons? It runs pretty cool but I did order the trail tech fan from you guys as on the technical stuff it's gotten pretty warm and I have had to stop 3-4 times to let it cool, never boiled over though (unfortunately it's still on back order). Anyway, keep the great videos rolling.

would you say the JD kit is a must for a mx racer?

Justin, will the carbon fiber pipe guard designed for the stock pipe fit the gnarly pipe?

I rode a bike prety well identical to yours last winer in Arizona. Was fantastic. Surprised you don't have rad guards.

IMO, you would be well served to put a Lectron carb on it. You'll never look back.
@rmatvmc7 жыл бұрын
I was going to, but the JD jet kit did the trick for a lot less money. The JD needle is shaped way different and that was the ticket for me on this bike. The TE150 we tested was jetted so poor that we put a lectron on it - it works great! - Justin
@Scottstunts6 жыл бұрын
I did the JD jet kit, opened the air box and v force reeds but I still wasn’t happy with it. I ended up purchasing the Lectron and it’s crisp everywhere. Low end is amazing and the top end screams. The fuel milage also increased.

Must be just me with the electron but every bike I have ridden with one seem lacking in low end pick up versus the Keihin setups, ridden multiple and they all seem the same :(

if ur ever going to get the suspension done you should call kevin at stillwell performance. They set up Cody webbs bike before he went to ktm. They now have ty tramain who is the defending enduro cross champ and is race the 6days for the usa in 2017.

my wife is only 5'6" with 29 inch inseam is she too short for dirt bikes? how low could we lower this bike for her?
@lucafabiano43127 жыл бұрын
Harley Davidson Breakout Ducati Panigale 1299 im 5'7" and i ride a stock suspension crf 450 r, i don't have a problem with it. You can buy a low seat and/or aftermarket suspension if your wife needs it but i think she will fit fine
@johnathanyinger7 жыл бұрын
You really want to buy a tx300 for your wife? I would suggest you start her off on a klx140l. Then move to a ttr225. Then a crf250r. Then she will be skilled enough to ride a tx300. When I was 14 5'2" I moved up to a yz250f, now at almost 20years old 5'5" 28 inseam I'm on a 250xc. I have over 10yrs worth of riding experience, that I can easily remember, and have ridden almost every dirtbike out there. - my 2 cents

Learn how to use your clutch..auto clutches teach you bad habits..same with steering stabilizers..adjust your bearing torque properly

Disc brakes make you lazy too...drum brakes are for real riders. And dual rear shocks...no need for fancy mono shocks (only a crutch for weak riders) ;-)
